I'm liking how you reversed the front 2 legs to be white and the rear/left/right legs to red. I think I like that batter than the front 2 always default to red. I'm deff going to change mine to that. I'm getting the AVDome kit from UAVObjects tomorrow and I can't wait to install Arduflyer. Play with Mission Planner and have a much more enjoyable flying experience as opposed to my current MultiWii FC. Thanks for this video!
I think what you are describing as Simple mode is actually Super Simple mode. Simple mode will always hold the direction it was heading when armed as forward. e.g. Pointing N when armed then pulling back will be S regardless of the distance travelled to the E or W. Super Simple will modify this so the copter will respond as you described. Regardless of lateral travel it will always come back toward you when you pull back on the stick. Enter this mode by choosing Simple and enabling in param list

i have read a lot about the turnigy 9x and i am sure there is a way to mix to get the 6 modes, i did another video on how to program the futaba 7c with mixes, you can use the theory in that video to program the turnigy 9x

The only trouble I'm having is understanding how to LAND arducoptor in case there's a transmitter fail and a battery fail. I need some guidance in the transmission failsafe and the battery failsafe as I'd like my quad to LAND in both scenarios.
poster i havent flown mine yet but wanted to ask you advice.. i set up all 6 modes with super simple and simple.. is that wise? should i just use simple with stabalize? also can you show me how you set up your go pro and your phone to get the video ?

Drift is my favourite mode. Three modes: Position hold, Drift and RTL.
Thanks for sharing. I just can't seem it get past the DeviceSEL screen in my dsx9 to get 6 flight modes.

Similar with 9x use gear switch and three position switch for six modes.

i just use double stick tape to hold it down so i could see the go pro app preview
What size battery are you using, and what kind of flight times are you getting? Just waiting on my H550 frame from HK.
