The seats are really good, after two days driving my sore lower back was better than when I started my 1500 km journey accross the country.

Reason behind the artificial leather is associated with religious belief of Mr Mahindra as he is a Hindu and hindu community never encouraged animal slaughter.
A large portion of Indian people wouldn't purchase the car if it came with leather produced from cattle slaughter.

Not true what about those who buy luxury cars all those mercs ,bmw and others use real leather. It's just a way to cut costs
If you are wearing a good branded belt or leather shoes it's most likely cow leather
“The Prado is officially overpriced” not the Fortuner, that is simply not in the run. I am an owner and I absolutely agree with evverything you say. And I have driven many Toyotas. Its just such as usable, user friendly, economical as can be. And yes a cars status has never bothered me but I have to be honest, with this car I now realised that I was status conscience when driving that Prado, and even Hilux.

I actually did review it but not as pleased with luxurious Mahindras. I prefer them a bit more rugged, oozing value like this one

I have been extremely disappointed with my purchase. Every time I drive it I feel the "loose" steering. Just read up on the steering issue wit the 4Explor. There is an issue with the electric steering - making the steering feel loose when driving in the city.
