    I was reluctant to purchase my Karoo S 6 at first. Now one year later and 60,000km on the clock, I love it. We have a farm in the Khomas Hochland in Namibia. The final road distance of 26 km takes 2 hours in 4 wheel drive over very rough terrain. Never a problem. On the open road I consistently get 12km per lit at 120. Most underrated 4 wheèl drive vehicle on the market.

    Mahindras they are very good and available in Australia the big question how can Mahindra build such high quality and reliable vehicles at such an affordable price this Scorpio is aud $46000 in Australia cheaper and better than its competition lndian built vehicles can't beat them l count India along with certain Japanese brands as the best reliable vehicles available in the world

    • @theemotionalremix
      @theemotionalremix 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is a common occurrence with brands that are still building their reputation. Over time, more and more people will be buying and owning these cars and then the company will be able to charge Toyota money for their vehicle. For now, the people that are discovering this brand are blessed to be buying these cars at such an affordable price.

    I have an s6 Karoo double cab 4x4. Best vehicle I've ever owned except possibly my Landrover 110 County td5 and that is stil questionable. Ruggedly built, unquestionably reliable ( 130000km's in 28 months in mining, agricultural and Bush trails and horribly potholes or corrugated roads) with no issues whatsoever. I would buy another with no qualms. Highly underrated vehicles. I want one of these with a sore heart.

Compared to other cars I tested it was firm and stable on the road especially on roundabouts. Out preformed an Isuzu MU-X which felt like it was going to rollover and the rattle before changing gear was off-putting

    Hi All, I bought a Scorpio-N 4xplor in September - the vin indicates made in January 2023. It has a loose steering issue which Mahindra SA is busy investigating. I spoke to another person with the same problem and their Scorpio-N was also made in January 2023. Are there any members here who have a similar issue and their vin number starts with MA1TK4YTTP6A With the 10th letter P indicating the year 2023 and the 12th letter A the month. It is a feeling of a loose component on the steering while traveling at low speeds over rough terrain. Could you please comment if you have a vehicle with the same problem and vin?

    • @TonyMandez-mo2ut
      @TonyMandez-mo2ut ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The reason for low ground clearance is unfortunately.....bureaucratic (indian bureaucracy to be specific). It is due to whats know as GST or the 'Goods and Services Tax' levied on small utility vehicles in India, which dictates that vehicles of this category whose engine capacity exceeds 1500cc, measuring over 40cm in length(?) And having a ground clearance over 170mm is not considered an SUV and attracts a base 22% tax (climbing to 28% as the ground clearance goes up). On paper, the Scorpion N has a 187mm clearance, with the aussie version measuring at 230mm.

    • @unwoke1652
      @unwoke1652 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TonyMandez-mo2ut They shouldn't make their problems mine. There are many ways to skin a cat. For tax reasons, European carmakers extracted much more power per cc than American ones; volume limitations just led to better application of physics and engineering. Are the smart Indians not savvy enough to get in through the back door, a window or the roof? Good for them if they lack the knack. Don't expect me to send my pet Dollar to them, so as to scrape a N belly on the silky soft Richtersveld rocks. Something's gotta give - but how did the Ozzies get it to 230mm? Video, please.

      Prop shaft vibration. Similar to what was found on some reviews of the new Ford Ranger. On both vehicles they are recalled or fixed/replaced on next service. Mine was replaced as I bought the vehicle and it is running smoothly.
      Vehicle runs good and is great fun, but remember to switch of the auto stop/start as it can leave you standing dead still at a traffic light, which is annoying. Hope they have a software update on that soon
