*BUT the Destiny LFG system sucks and still has huge issues. Also Raids probably won’t be fun for Necrit with the LFG since it’s all toxic KWTD or else. No optional difficulty for raids. Destiny is failure IMO
@EchoDoctrine - Not necessarily true. I play Destiny, and they do have their regular raids & then "Master" versions of each, which are harder. 🤷🏻♀️😏 That might not technically be several different levels of difficulty but... it's something. It's at least a "hardmode" or whatever. What they DO have, that comes with multiple levels of difficulty, are something called "Nightfalls". And those are a LOT of fun. It's where they take a strike (a 3 player mini raid if you will) and make it the featured strike of the week, by calling it a "Nightfall". In the NF version of the strike, they add additional villains to fight, including ones called Champions, that you need special mods to "stun" so they take more damage etc. And this "Nightfall" DOES come in various difficulty levels, starting with Advanced, then Expert, then Master until... you get to the GrandMaster level, which is the hardest version. These Nightfalls might not be raids, however they are incredibly popular, and ... they work & FEEL like a mini raid, only just with a 3 person fireteam is all. So the game still has options for folks. And because the playerbase is used to these being the option... none of us feel as thought we are missing out on anything. To be fair, Destiny isn't an MMO. Not really. It has MMO-lite qualities about it (raids, dungeons, etc) but it's not quite the same as games like WoW. It's like this weird fusion of FPS/RPG/MMO, and although that is kinda weird, lol, it has worked, for at least 10yrs so far. And it's FPS gunplay feels sooo damn good compared to other games, that it's managed to keep even some of it's most disgruntled players coming back time & again, with every new expansion & dlc, as it's difficult to find THAT level of crispy gunplay elsewhere, trust me. Their endgame PvP mode (called "Trials") still has fairly decent numbers of people playing & watching it, every weekend. And whenever a new raid in the game drops, Bungie hosts a "World's First" tournament for it, where fireteams (made up of 6 players each), all compete to finish the raid first. Hundreds of thousands of people tune in to watch these tournaments (just in America alone) - even people who don't play the game tune in - all cuz they are legit THAT fun to watch. The raid they put out for their latest expansion The Final Shape, is absolutely f*cking bonkers. lol In a 48hr tournament window... only ONE team was able to beat it within a 24hr window. Almost didn't make it. The 2nd best team couldn' beat it for another 5 hours after that. It's the most difficult raid the game had ever dropped. One encounter alone took the winning team 8hrs to figure out. It was madness. Destiny ain't dead yet guys. 👊🏽😉 Not yet. lol
@@KabbalahSherry having a raid that only ONE team can beat & takes over 24 hrs…. Maybe that’s good for twitch viewership & people say “wow that’s crazy”. Destiny lacks entry mechanics and it always has. Huh? 💀 I presume you’re on about dungeons here?? Also, I am going to presume you’re new to the game as well as the fact you’re saying they’re fun, as they’re not if you’re having to do the same strike over and over again each season, which most people if they’re not even gilding their conqueror title will do the same repetitive strike on GM for an extremely easy farm… Kinda tired of seeing people defend the state of the game when it’s a complete joke and in such a state. Bungie needs to reevaluate their priorities and where they lie within this IP and only then should we as consumers recommend and introduce people to the game Raid difficulty can’t be changed unless it’s that specific raid’s in the weekly rotation btw.
In regards to the "triple A game does not mean a lot", they probably are asking for it not because they did something of quality, but that they were able to work in the AAA enviroment and developed or understood some of the skills necessary (teamwork, management bureocracy aspects) to operate under the AAA work pipeline instead of a more indie game or solo-dev work experience.

The "curse" has been broken even before that, especially when counting animation and series instead of solely live-action movies. It's wild to assume Arcane was the first and disregard the successes becuase of some failures. A more accurate title would be as one of the most acclaimed and successful adaptations, standing alongside others who came before.

As for fighting games, ever played newer fighting games? They all go into easier controlls for years now, riot is just following the trend here.
The "curse" has been broken even before that, especially when counting animation and series instead of solely live-action movies.
It's wild to assume Arcane was the first and disregard the successes becuase of some failures. A more accurate title would be as one of the most acclaimed and successful adaptations, standing alongside others who came before.
It's funny how at this point Riot is practically the Devil, observing from afar the suffering and dissatisfaction of players with each type of current games and then offering an "offer of something better"
Riot's logistics and marketing group is one of the craftiest things fr lmao 💀
I would love to see a round 2 of the mmo videos haha. You could even release them with the same titles and in the same order!
I think there is a potential 10 min Video on why Necrit is wearing this Hoody
Necrit, where did you get that AWESOME HOODIE? the little nail in the zipper oh my god.
I fear Riot just named every game idea alphabetically....
to be far they did fix the finder issue however the answer is all of them... you need all the dlc...
Wait.... are they trying to fill the spot that is technically being left open by Destiny?
If you do make a video on this, a great game to study in the mmo fps genre would be Division and Division two. Division two had really good promise pre-release but they shot themselves in the foot with the pvp/dark zone sizes and limited interaction amongst players. It was still an amazing type of game with indepth mechanics for a gun mmo.
Destiny 2??? What is with Warframe???
As a consistent Valorant player i'd much rather play a Runeterra mmo, so I hope they don't quit developement
14:20 most of the early issues have changed, there is an in-game group finder now for instance
After what? 9 years of existing?XD
They're probably building their own version of destany
Runeterra Division would be fucking tight.
Holy fuck don't say things like this Ill get my hopes up
the mmofps game Planetside 2 not mentioned smh my head
Riot: Mentions 1 word about a project
Necrit: OHHH BOYYYY OK, YOU SEE THIS IS BIG AND HUGE AND ANOTHER MMO!!!! :D
Riot:
💀☠💀☠💀
yup exactly, dude is off yapping over one job posting and going off with speculations and creating wild fantasies in his head.
@@voidox yeah, but for me, it's funny, I dont hate him for that 😆
Riot games casually declaring war on all video game genres.
Im curious if Riot would get some inspiration from Warframe stuff
I hope we get pets. The bear from Deadlocks trailer would be such a cool boss too.
I am SO TIRED of games having set characters in MMOs, i hope they don't do that
Warframe is the only one that makes it work tho
14:01
As of now, D2 added a full lfg system last year, and has had voice chat for a while now.
I also never did raids, but since they added the new system I have been able to play a few.
The real issue with D2 is slow content cycle and poor monetization
Unreal glazing 💀
I swear they bought him off after his tirade about league getting no new content. Suddenly riot could do no wrong in his eyes.
@@BoneWalker I mean he got to go to their headquarters and see a bunch of shit. Definitely a bit of you scratch my back I'll scratch yours, but he also got to see a bunch of stuff he can't talk about. So I imagine that probably changed his mind about the 'no new content.'
You may wanna do research before you speak about things you don't know. All those social features you said Destiny doesn't have well they do and have had them for over a year.
life is nothing but endless circles. i need more mmo videos, especially since this game sounds right up my alley.
7:47 I think you mispronnunced Warframe
the way my excitement built up gradually !!!!!
I just realized, this is gonna be a competitor to Deadlock. Dang!
I'm ready for Necrit to make 8 videos from this
I personally would love to play an action RPG based on Runeterra and LoL characters. The gameplay from the beginning of the video looked awesome. Imagine that with more characters
14:30 they did give us the party finder btw. With alot of prob surrounding it, but the do have one
So like Riot's take on Warframe
Necrit just manages to hype me TO ANYTHING.... could be an onion - im READY.
I would love some Valorant lore videos on this channel.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have endgame raids with puzzle elements
Im ready for the valorant mmo lore video
one in fantasy and other one in futuristic this gonna be massive its actually its gonna happen
w-w-w-w-wait... MMO ... FPS ... don't tell me... competition for Planet Side?
Destiny
Sound to me like it could be a Helldives Thingy ?! maybe maybe
I bet they switched from the Runeterra MMO to this.
Would be weird to have two competing games.
well there is one game that while not an FPS but a TPS has been successful for the past 10+ years and still is kicking hard, Warframe
Sure it's not perfect but they had a lot of time to cook, i hope riot can catch up
If Riot can release a fighting game that doesn't require me to dislocate my thumb to pull off an uppercut, I'm interested.
Go Necrit Go! Make 5 more video for Valorant MMO!
I love the unhinged part of Necrit that wants to make a Class Video already.
P.S- Make that video already, Lorekeeper
Necrit Valorant lore videos. I'm so down for it
I’ll be here for the second video on this, in ten years.
An update for anyone interested in Destiny, they have raid finder and group finder now, u dont have to make a pre built. In terms of coms there's always been text chat available and you can use mic as well.
no way youre making me get hyped for a riot destiny
We could see another Skyrim since that is First Person Perspective.
If Riot makes an FPSMMO/Lite and it’s not as pricey as D2 and feels as good to play I’m jumping ship immediatly, 2600 hours in D2 be damned.
BRO I JUST WANNA BE A LONELY SAMURAI LIVING IN A HUT IN IONIA IT HAS TO BE A RUNETERRA MMO
We'll get this one after GTA VII releases.
Yes! pls make more MMO videos i need them
I remember the Valorant beta and release phase back then, it was ever since the most talked about shooter. They nailed it from game to soundtrack and even cinematics
i think i speak for everyone when i say we would love a classes vid
Destiny currently has a group finder for raids within the game itself, and it has always been possible to recruit people from the game application.
Thinking about the Overwatch 2 players which was promised a PvE Mode, not getting anything could even get these players in the FPS MMO from Riot Games. There is much potential in this genre.
Is there ever a world where it is a fantasy mmorpg in first person? Like... traditional classes like "ranger", "cleric", "paladin", "rogue" just in first person?
You know when they cut Riot Forge to focus inward it only kinda made sense to me. But if they're juggling 2 massive projects internally like we're speculating, that decision makes sense and lines up really well timeline wise.
I am imagining a dev a riot lookimg at his screen while falling on floor crying "oh no, no not AGAINNNNNNN" 😂
i would love for you to take a look at destiny 2 so that you can vocalise some of the aspects that us destiny players love so much, it would be great to help connect the valorant and lol people on what this type of game may be like and give good content for you. there are also many destiny people who are very willing to help new players through everything and the game is a lot better now except it has ended pretty much.
id never thought that necrit would make a destiny 2 adjacent video
