  • Car have evolve tuned ecu, and straight pipes after resonator, so no rear silencers/mufflers.

    the ACS wheels look great on the car. That rear fender gap looks right on also. Lowered?

    Its because of AlphaN tune by Evolve automotive, there is no Mass airflow sensors(Maf).

    these engines needs to warm up first before they reach the very best of it... it might be the reason why the rpm keeps higher for a while...

    god that sound is orgasmic :O is it normal for m5 to have higher rpm on startup and after few minutes they drop? m5e34 did same thing when i was looking at it in a car dealership i thought it was weird

    it's normal the rpm is higher at cold start, M5 isn't the only one with this, even my 50cc scooter had this when i had an high end cilinder, as soon it gets warmer the rpm drops down a bit

    Hello guys. Im from malaysia. Have a question. I have this model but 528i. How to get this sound to my car??

    • @heregoesmike
      @heregoesmike 9 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Syed Zulfadhli Since yours is a 528i (inline 6 engine), the car wouldn't sound like this, as the M5 is a V8, but really any performance muffler will change the sound of any vehicle drastically.

    • @BillyDhaK1d
      @BillyDhaK1d 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Syed Zulfadhli breh, a M5 is a v8

    • @Christopher26021994
      @Christopher26021994 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Syed Zulfadhli As it was said before, your car has completely different engine type. I have car with V6 engine which is more similar to V8 and also getting such sound is impossible. However, you can make sound of the car deeper and that's the main goal if you want to make it at least a bit similar. The pattern isn't that hard. Catalictic converter makes car sounding less raspy, so you should leave it in your car, middle muffler is mostly for muffling high pitch sounds, so it must stay as well, however, you can put in its place another muffler, with same inlet/outlet pipes diameter, which would be chamber one with lots of muffling. It can't be straight pipe or anything like that, I guess magnaflow and some other brands have such mufflers. Last muffler is for muffling low tone sounds, and that's the thing you want to change the most, also, don't use straight trough mufflers or straight pipes, it will be too loud, and it wont have that effect. Choose something dedicated, from a good brand, or at least again a muffler with some chambers that will muffle high pitch tones. The main goal for you, if you care only about sound, not performance, should be muffling high pitch sounds as much as it is possible, avoiding causing any drone or raspy, metalic sounds (which happen if you get rid of catalyctic converter), and allowing low tone sounds be louder. Also changing pipe diameter might help, however it could decrease performance of your car as your engine is naturally aspirated one. So better not. I'm not sure about headers, but in Subaru Impreza unequal lenght headers makes engine sounding more deeply and growly, if there would be any for your inline six engine, it might give also such effect, but it is not for performance that much as well. Hope that it helps and makes everything clear :)
