This vid is just heartless. The one guy mentioned critical race theory? The only party that is saying anything about the way us blacks are murdered here in America is the Democrats. But yall pretend this isn't happening? Really! Are you being serious about which party cares about life? Yall just mention a few things. Nothing about Republicans trying to take healthcare away from the poor. Really?

Yall basically care more about protecting yall comfortable religious freedoms than protecting life. Yall say nothing about how the Republican's treat life. Or how this President lied over and over to the people about this virus. That caused so many lives to be lost. But the one guy brushes that all aside by saying he THINKS the virus is overblown. Over 240,000 dead, but he's going with what he THINKS. Unreal!

I grew up in a moderately Christian/republican home...thank God, the gospel was more heavily emphasized then politics (though, I wish we didn't listen to talk radio as much, looking back)...
I remember around the time of the elections of 2008...all the Conservative Talk Radio was making such a big deal about how Obama was going to destroy America and there would be no way that America would elect him...
And then, Obama won. I felt so defeated and scared. But then, I noticed something. All the stuff that these Talk Radio people were saying didn't happen. They became nastier and nastier towards anyone who called themselves liberal and as I read the Bible more and more, I found that I couldn't justify the statements that many Republicans and conservative radio hosts were making towards Democrats and Liberals...
That was almost 10 years ago...and even within the last 4 years, I have changed...
No, I am not a liberal...I still have a lot of conservative type beliefs, but do not consider myself conservative...I am a man without a party...a man without a country...a man who follows God is a man without a country...and there is such freedom there...
When Trump began to run, I couldn't believe that people took him seriously...I thought it was a joke. I thought there was no way that people would support him...and then he won...I was surprised by what I saw...so many Christians were rallying around a man who stated during the election that he did not need forgiveness from God...and also suprised by how many of my liberal friends were scared of what would happen. I remember coming into work the day after the election and many of them were in tears at some point of the day. I was a very humbling experience that these people (many whom have felt hurt or neglect by the relgious right) were so scared that they came into work crying...
For the last 4 years, I've tried to warm up to Trump...but every time I try to give him a chance, I find myself shaking my head at how further away he is taking us from reality...every year...every month...every week...every day, it seems to get worse...
No, he's not hitler...but he's not King David either...
I am not saying all this to say that if you're a Christian you shouldn't vote Republican...I am saying that you shouldn't look down at those who are voting Democrat because of what Trump has become and the stain he has left on Christianity in America...
Who wants to follow the Christ that the Trump Christians follow?
Ask your non-Christian friends, how many of them want to follow Christ if they know you voted for Trump? Ask yourself why that is....it's not because of hatred...it's because there is a disconnect between the words/actions of trump and the bible which he claims to follow and for which many of his followers claim to follow...
Also, ask yourself this: Can you separate the Part of Conservatism from the Faith of Christianity?
If you cannot find any differences between the two, you need to do some thinking and praying...There is no political system in the world that contains the truth that we find in Christianity...none...
If you are so afraid of losing your religious liberties, remember this:
the early church THRIVED during times of persecution, because they learned how to cultivate their faith in private and share when the risk was worth it...
We Christians in America will never understand that time of thriving...sure, we'll be wealthy and rich in the worldly sense of the word if we vote for Trump...but, we will have lost our soul as a nation...
    That's my thoughts anyways...

Wow... How did you probe my brain to know exactly what I was thinking? This might be the comment of the year. Too bad this will fall on deaf ears of both the conservative and liberal Christians. They've already chosen their side and continue to make excuses for their clan.

Things which are meaningless: it wasnt the biggest inauguration crowd. And so what if it wasn't? You still won. @@simpleenglish1 I am going to copy some points from an article written 2016.
      Lets see what still fits.
      1. He lacks compassion.
The Bible says: "As God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience." (Colossians 3:12)
On this point, we could cite Mr. Trump's many instances of inflammatory rhetoric against immigrants and Muslims, his record of discriminatory housing practices, his public cruelty to ex-spouses or his sensational and mean-spirited feuds with other celebrities as evidence of his lack of compassion. But consider a recent AP-GfK poll showing that among Republicans, he is largely believed to lack compassion. And bear in mind, these are the people most likely to view him favorably. Many of those voters polled expressed this was not a concern. But for Christians, an unrepentant lack of compassion suggests that the man does not seek to please God or lead according to His will.
      2. He appeals to fear and anger.
The Bible says: "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love."(1 John 4:18)
The Bible says: "But I say to you that if you are angry with a brother or sister, you will be liable to judgment; and if you insult a brother or sister, you will be liable to the council; and if you say, 'You fool,' you will be liable to the hell of fire." (Matthew 5: 22)
      3. He is enamored with "greatness" and ego, but has no concern for "goodness" or service.
The Bible says: "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." (Matthew 5: 5-8)
In The Narcissist Next Door, author Jeffrey Kluger suggests Trump is a classic narcissist. Some might say that running for office encourages this sort of thing. But narcissism might be the most dangerous condition for a Christian - without humility and self-effacement, we are incapable of modeling Jesus' behavior, we allow no space for the Holy Spirit to bless our relationships, and we are unable to receive or revel in the goodness of God. Ask yourself the last time you saw a public expression of humility from Mr. Trump.
      4. He lies - a lot.
The Bible says: "Beware then of useless grumbling, and keep your tongue from slander; because no secret word is without result, and a lying mouth destroys the soul." (Wisdom 1:11)
      6. He speaks about his daughter in a disrespectful and sexualized way.
The Bible says: "Do you have daughters? Be concerned for their chastity, and do not show yourself too indulgent with them." (Sirach 7:24)
In a 2006 interview with Rolling Stone, when asked about the idea of his daughter posing for Playboy, Trump replied, “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.” For a self-identified Presbyterian, such a statement is hard to square with Calvinist sexual ethics.
      7. He does not attempt to love his enemies, but instead cultivates antagonism.
The Bible says: "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous." (Matthew 5:43-48)
      9. He doesn’t seem to care about the poor.
The Bible says: "Jesus said to him, 'If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.'" (Matthew 19:21)
This is the article I took all of this from.
      www.dallasnews.com/opinion/commentary/2016/11/06/10-reasons-you-cant-be-a-christian-and-vote-for-donald-trump/
      Lets add to this.
‘Tsunami of untruths’: Trump has made 20,000 false or misleading claims - report
      www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jul/13/donald-trump-20000-false-or-misleading-claims
      He is also racist.
      www.vox.com/2016/7/25/12270880/donald-trump-racist-racism-history
Is that enough or would you like me to find more examples of un-Christian behaviour?
      One last thing.
This is a quote from him
*"I like to be good. I don't like to have to ask for forgiveness. And I am good. I don't do a lot of things that are bad. I try to do nothing that is bad."*
Tell me, is that Christian attitude or no?

This might sound cavalier but in my eyes, the gospel is not dependent on who is in power. Honestly, when looking at church history, true Christianity thrives under persecution and during prosperous times, the church is quite lackadaisical. A compromised church is probably why we're in this position and having this conversation. I'm certainly not a proponent of Marxism, abortion, LGBTQ, etc. but I can tell you this without hesitation, a republic or democracy is not a Godly form of government. Having said that, I know we will never go back to a Theocracy (Kingdom where God is King) and since we won't, the only direction to head is down. I hear more "Christians" talking politics than I hear them preaching Jesus. Even with a republican presidency, this country has deteriorated and it will continue to deteriorate no matter who is in office. Will it deteriorate faster with a democratic presidency? Most likely, yes. But if you believe in your country so much then you believe in the checks and balances that are in place and you have nothing to worry about. Reality is, better get your life right, priorities on God, preach the Word of God, and save the lost. Go a few nights without Fox News/CNN and replace that time with God's Word. Seek His face and see real change. Thanks guys. God bless.

If consevatives wanted to change Roe v Wade, they could have done so in the 90s when they had 7 or so judges. Plus changing Roe does not make abortion illegal except in states that choose to do so. Abortion was higher before Roe than it is today thanks to increased access to healthcare and contraceptives. I get the hesitation of Christians to vote for Democrats, and I obviously disagree with the culture stuff from the left. But I would argue this. Think of how America was founded. Ben Franklin, George Washington and Nathaniel Greene were all important to the Revolution, but played different roles. Franklin was a great negotiator and statesmen, Washington was a great leader, but was often outmaneuvered on the battlefield and Greene was more of a tactician on the battlefield. Washington ultimately became President, but all 3 were important in different roles. It's a fair question. As a slightly heterodox Roman Catholic, he's not leading the charge in either direction. Like Jorge Bergoglio (a.k.a. 'Francis'), he mostly goes with the flow.
With a few exceptions, Christians in the Western world have no business complaining about persecution, when our brethren in the Middle East and parts of Africa have suffered so much. It's a little ironic in view of the reputation she has acquired, but Hillary Clinton is the only politician of any nationality I've heard mention the suffering of Middle Eastern Christians. That was during the campaign in which she lost to Trump.
Also ironically, the 'godly' Trump praised Kim Jong-un to the skies and
declared that they had 'fallen in love'. That 'love' was very one-sided, because KJU only continued to accelerate his nuclear missile programme.
Trump has served his purpose for the pro-life and Christian Zionist movements. He should now be cast aside like a squeezed lemon IMHO. That is what he does to others when he is finished with them.

I think it's simple-minded to simplify how we vote to just the policies because what's just as important as the policies is the leadership. The leader is the one who we expect to properly enforce said policies correctly, preach the truth as much as possible, and have good character. Trump fails miserably at all of these and his response to the coronavirus has only made that more glaring. And while yes, the major Christian values that the left doesn't affirm are concerning, but there's a lot more that they stand for than just those things, so you also have to weigh the quantity of good policies as well. For example, I'm strongly pro-life, but I think our gun control are insanely loss and need to be restricted just to give an example.
Personally, I'm voting for Biden first and foremost because of Biden's leadership and character. He's always very calm and collected, and always listens to others, even and especially those he disagrees with. That's something we desperately need now. It's so refreshing to have a leader that will make the opposition feel heard and seen, even when they're minority and the opposition. It will build the bridge through the identity politics that plague this country that Mr. Turek called out.

The real issue is man went from theocracy to self-determination with all the fallout. Moses' father-in-law sneaked human administration in again whilst counseling him in the wilderness. It is not clear whether Moses sought God's opinion in the matter but we know how God eventually responded when Samuel went to Him BEFORE annointing Saul. We will never really know what governance truly is until Jesus Christ returns. What is very clear is that man lost capacity to rule - dominion - to the other side of the spirit realm and he's been lost in hit-or-miss ever since.

Whoever Frank Turek is, he is nuts! Like seriously take off the hat, it's absolutely just for show, wow. If you are voting with a Christian mindset you would vote democrat, not because perfect or anything but because there is underlying cultural policy that is Christ-like. Republican greed, hate and division is not Godly. And FYI abortion will happen exactly the same under either party. What would lower abortion rates is support for mothers, health care for all, maternity pay etc make life liveable (you know being Christ-like to people) and then it becomes far less likely for people to think they need abortions. Some serious nonsense spouted under a facade of Christianity in that short video. If you take political advice under a religious guise from this video you are taking advice from individuals willingly lying and spouting hyperbolic nonsense. Biden isn't some demon to fear, he is just the figure head for a party with the more Christian policy but who don't actively court that vote as much. You shouldn't need lying to to have your vote won.

A bit of a problem with Evangelicals is that they seem to not be concerned with regular people's problems and suffering. I remember railing at the distaste people had toward transsexuals or gay people's SUFFERING. I can just see Evangelicals squirming in their chairs at the thought of possibly empathizing with a sinner in my minds eye. They dare not even mention their own suffering to each other many times because it could be considered proof that God has abandoned them or something.
People turn to those who seem to care. That's why many Christians turn to the Democratic party. Christian many times aren't there for their suffering. "Pray the prayer. Then get in formation or go away." This very question must be click bait. You can't really think that a "Good Christian" must vote Republican? If it's not click bait then it's an example of the very thing I'm talking about. Evangelicals can't reconcile God's love for humanity and God's distaste for sin. Again yes vote but no matter what its all going to get worse over time and there isn't a vote in the world that can stop it. But again vote lol

Seeing color is NOT divisive. Turning a blind eye to immoral treatment on the basis of color IS divisive.

SHLM & HaB (peace & love). The Name of the Creator is Hayah asher Hayah, as what He told Mose (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He is the Atoning Offering for mankind for the remission of sin ( 1 John 2:1-2). He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). If you believe the Messiah died on the cross, & Resurrected three days later (presenting Himself as First Fruits to the Father), please ask Him to be your Savior. He is the ONLY way to Everlasting Life.

We shouldn’t be afraid because God is in control. Also if LGBT individuals get more freedom or rights then us Christians should also. After all Joe Biden wants equality and Christians are people too.

@@justincameron9661The first amendment is actually supposed to keep the government from dictating the exercise of religion. Look around to see the opposite; democratic governors insisting that churches stay closed while supermarkets, liquor stores, casinos, and large protests may continue.
