If you want to switch to brown rice, you can look for brown basmati rice. i found it more easily digestible than standard brown rice in US. (I don’t know what that common type of rice in US is, so this is not a scientific advice, just what I experienced) You can find it at your nearest Patel Brothers or Indian grocers.

Don't call what these today's Indians eat as I dian food, our ancestors ate great food for thousands of yrs, we don't represent the Indian eating habits at all

Most of the indians don't buy these different types, they just go for the ones which is available for 1$ per kg or the Basmati rice as they look for affordability
