I happen to know that the IRS is not going to report anything if they get their cut, you don't even need to say it's specifically illegal you just gotta report how much you made and use a gentle euphemism to describe the activity such, resale distributor, car repair shop, used car sales, product distributor, service provider, exotic plant nursery, marketing manager, anything that sounds legit but doesn't specify what exactly you do to make money. Basically it's just a legal shake down

They actually did this in Tn years and years ago. Allow a person to report and pay taxes every quarter and called it a business but they were actually selling drugs...the commissioner got fired and all hell broke loose. A drug dealer stated he only had a certain amount of drugs cause he reported the profit to the dept of tn revenue so that information was used in his court case. Everything got swept under the rug.

I once heard a rumor that people were sent letters claiming they had won something and they were instructed where to go to collect. But when they got there, they GOT collected by the police. I never found out if that actually happened.

This rule is so that when they catch you and put you in jail they can also slap you with some fees and back taxes on what they assume you sold. I’m sure this is another way to mess us over.
