thank you for the very detailed video. I was wondering why my sculpts had such ugly meshes and all I had to do was remesh and decimate. again thank you now I know what to do moving forward for 3d printing, I subscribed!
I'm learning how much of sculpting can be not from doing the stuff perfectly without room for error first try but from knowing how to recover and avoid errors like that. When you figure out the booleans and remeshing you can see a massive chunk of problematic geometry and just say "I'm not dealing with that" and replace it pretty conveniently. And the boolean workflow works great for establishing separate objects for distinct parts of the body or whatever you're doing where it can be tricky to distinguish them otherwise
Im not sure if you know how to fix this but while in sculpt mode, im sculpting from a metaball frame, and when i use any sculpt mode whether its clay strips, draw, etc it only subtracts geometry or creates issues. I am not in subtract mode and ive tried different methods online but nothing has worked, would you have any clue on how to fix this? Thank you

Thanks for that thumbnail, Ryan! Recognized my problem from the thumbnail alone and of course you had the solution. You rule.
glad it helped!
I love that 'plaster/band aid' technique you introduced into the mesh. I'll take this one on board. Thank you.
