The way you did it, the fence setting didn’t matter. The Domino referenced off of the table. The Domino is 10mm to the center of the cutter. At the 20mm stop the fence is 10mm from the center of the cutter. The stock was 18 mm so your fence was 2 mm above the stock. It worked out in this case but just be aware of it.
Referencing off the table is also the best way to reference such joints as you otherwise would need to push down on the top with the frame parts hanging off the table.

I just used a router table for the rabbets, because I didn't have a dado stack at the time, which I would use now for speed/safety's sake.
