I just bought the domino and used both of these joints in this video for my first day in the shop with it or ever using one. I made 2 6ft outside corners fluted for a window... I ripped each piece of polar on a 45, stick fixed the saw marks, marked my boards and started my mortises. Beyond easy.. 8 dominos on the tight setting. They dry fit perfectly and super square at 6ft long. The second application I'm callin bottom plates for long panels laying on their sides on curbing..stock is 5/4x4" on the money. I did exactly what Sedge did with 2 10×50 dominos and man o man o mano... perfection once again. I also laminated a few aother items all in the same day. This was record breaking for me and upped my game....

Very informative. Do you have on showing fitting table rail to the leg where the thickness is different? I struggle to see how you set out dominos on the leg
I'm trying to join material with 45° but the material is 15mm. I keep go9ng all the way through. Is it just that the 5mm cutter is too big for that material?
Is it necessary to change the width of the mortise only while the machine is running? I have heard if you change the width of the mortise without the unit running that over time could shear a pin and to make sure you only change the width while the unit is running true or false?
Have a shutter job of 24 different sized shutters , requiring attaching vertical blades to a large 2 light door 2450 high x 1856 wide I.e. 56 mm x 145 mm top rail and styles central horizontal mid rail , 185 x 56 bottom rails . Every shutter is different as they are in sets which slide back even and slide out to cover the gap with the styles overlaying each other even. The blades have a gap between blades of approx 25 to 27mm at worked out measure to fit the opening. How is the best way to drill and secure the blades to the rails? To get the registering correct so when using domino , I’ll get the blades spaced correctly .
When you point things out (marks, centerlines, settings, etc), please wait for the camera to catch up so we can actually see what you're pointing to. Or use a pencil to point to them.
he wasn’t flush with bevel end on 2nd biscuit. also, they just casually have that air clamp holdy thingy on set knwing we are gonna want to know about it!

So glad I found this video right before cutting bevels at 50 deg on 45 MM stock. Confirmed my choice of 10MM dominos, but location tips were perfect.

Do you have any of your new knockdown, mechanical connectors that would work on a joint like that?
How do I do 3/4” miter joints on the domino xl? Is there a shim plate I need to get closer to the inside of the joint? And what bit size is needed?
Fought and fought with mine. After sending it to get looked at turns out it was out of spec from factory. Unfortunately, I have to pay for the repair😲
