    Besides the heavy work involved, with this type of DYI 3d printer, it's above any other, and for half the price, if you build it yourself, and even raising the bar a bit with stepper servos and some gcode wizardry to print half 5 axis. :) Thanks for the sharing the models .)

      Stop giving me ideas and let me finish the printer first. LOL.

    This is a very awesome design :) I might modify a little bit, extend the back of the printer so I can put the 2 stepper motors inside, then acrylic around the case, electronic will be at the bottom.

      Oro Yerta may i know why u decide to use ball screw instead of lead screw for z axis?

    I will make a stand for the printer as well, built-in 2 rolls of 10 lbs filaments. I'm planning for dual direct drive mosquito hot end.

    Hi! (sorry for my ignorance) Exist any mechanical/control reason that explain why is not used 4 stepper motors for z axes in xy printers? Thanks!!!

    holy shite .... this is stunning !!!
    will this actually print 3Dimensional ?

      The intent is not to fully achieve complete 5 axis printing, but more at providing an extra flexibility for overhangs and complexe parts made of exotic materials.

    So how much does it cost. Only parts more than 700 €

    • @MirageC
      @MirageC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      1500 for a basic configuration should be what you need to budget for.

      @@MirageC thank you for your answer i almost thought that with ballscrews and stuff. I have to let it go through my mind if I am willing to spend so much money on 3d printing
