Love the video Byron, and i love love the infeet range. I bought the infeet 702 rod based on your review over a year ago and its been so much fun to use as an all rounder. I just picked up the 752 LFS model and 610 LFS(for the kayak) last week and cant wait to use them both. I'd love a few more varieties below 7 foot for kayak fishing. Looking forward to more videos from you with Daiwa gear as I love they way they brand and have developed the infeet range

Love your enthusiasm about this rod and the review in general. Something that's on the list for sure. Great to hear it's good for beginners as well as experienced anglers. Wouldn't
Know where to start with suggestions for rods, but would love one of these to help me understand how different rods have different end products with regards to lure action.
    Great job once again.

Hi Byron, Ioved the start, had me smiling and really keen for the rest of the clip, the moving camera, location changes etc worked well I thought 🙌. I'm really excited by the look of this rod, I throw a lot of light soft plastics, and while I've got some nice rods I still haven't found the one I'm really confident with. If I was after another infeet model, it'd be a 6'8 or 6'9 2-5 kg I could use as my kayak/bass/rack rod something with some meat down low, but supple enough to throw surface or plastics and small skirted jigs.. cheers mate, top stuff! 🤞🤞🤞

    • @ByronTeaHill

I love my kayak fishing so I'd like to see some more options in the 6" to 6'6" range for casting in around tree's. Even when land based a shorter rod is good when walking along the bank finding little gaps in between the tree's.

Awesome video. The Infeet Z range is my favourite purely because of the quality of the rods. I have the 7'3 and the 6'8 & the latter is the one I use the most. I wouldn't mind a 6'6 in the Z range just to help with my casting accuracy but I guess it means I need to spend more time practising.😅😅😅. Keep up the great work.👍

Your enthusiasm is infectious Byron. Another great vid and enjoyed the cut aways to Slats - helps provide context between the review element and the designers intentions 👌 the Infeet range is pretty extensive to be fair, but for me a 7'3 / 7'4, 2-5kg, short butt, cork grips, faster taper, lower end power for pulling shell munching donkeys out of structure - and for the love of God a hook keeper above the reel seat. I don't ask for much. Hahaha.

I really like the infeet series and currently have an base model infeet 6101lfs and Z 742ulrs on my yak at all times... I love the rods from 6fts 10 to about 7ft 4 but would love to see a longer model for landbased/yak shallow flats around the 8ft6 or longer... the distance you could get with that rod would cover so much ground and help on those days where the fish are heaps spooky presenting small lures to wary fish.

Love the vid Byron, I don’t know much about the Infeet rods. I’m going to describe my favourite rod type and maybe it will match one of the Infeet’s out there, and if not then that is what I’d like to see in the future.
I like my rod to have a subtle tip so that you can feel all the bites, I also like a solid backbone as I sometimes target the smaller Jewfish and it’s nice to have I bit of strength through the blank. As for length I’d say around the 7 foot mark maybe slightly shorter, and my desired handle would probably be EVA foam or cork.
    Cheers

Gonna buy that rod now byron awesome video as always, there are so many good rods in the infeet range that it took a bit of thinking to find the missing rod, in my opinion they need to make a 2-4kg fast tapered rod for bass the ideal length would be 7ft but I would also like to see a 7ft 6in rod for small surface swimbaits and the ags guides would just make this rod feel incredible

It's great to see you evolve, adapt and enable the up and coming generation of fishos to be involved in your content Byron! I wish I had access to content like yours when I was growing up!
I recently bought and absolutely love the Infeet Z 732 LFS, it is by far the BEST light rod I have ever used! I have only used it from my Hobie but can't wait to use it land based down through the NSW south coast estuaries.
I know the pillow talk I am now going to have to have with the wife is, "babe the 712 LFS is even better than the 732 LFS, you know the satisfaction that has brought me, I am happy to clean the bathrooms for the next 6 months if I can put the 712 into my quiver!"
What I also believe would be an absolute gold marketing decision by Daiwa (and other well known companies) is; offer customers subscription services that give them opportunties for product testing days and includes discounts on their products. Not only would it bring revenue to the company but create a whole new interest in fishing.

It is extremely whippy might I say but makes perfect for unweighted plastics flicking land based around Sydney for bream in the city. • @granttdreyerr4029
    @granttdreyerr4029 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi Byron, I got myself a 610LFS and I think that it has been fantastic around Sydney harbour, however it is a bit too flimsy at the tip to feel super connected to your lure, which leads to losing fish every now and then. I think they should make them a little more responsive at the tip as it is better to hook a fish and lose it than catch no fish. however by the sounds of it, this new 712LFS is ticking all these boxes as an all-around weapon.
Also, I was wondering if you have got your hands on any of the new Daiwa jigheads yet and if you have any opinions on them relative to the TT jigheads. Cheers for the great videos!!!

Great review and great video byron. I have a z myself but its in the 7'8 and to me is not the best rod for bream. Its too long, stiff and quite heavy. Im very keen to test out the 712lfs as its much shorter and seems more suitable. I just recently bought the TD Black Wicked Weasel for it to be my new landbased bass rod. As a landbased fisho I needed a rod that can impart action into and cast the light lures, but could also handle a long cast with heavier lures such as football jigs or spinnerbaits, so in the future, if I commit to the step up in price, I would love to see an infeet with a landbased bass focus (a do all rod with some sensivity and some back bone, that casts a mile - which I understand is a difficult ask).
I am also in the market for a rod to chase big flathead on where I would predominantly be casting 5 inch plastics on heavy jig heads, but the issue is I don't want a rod so stiff the hooks pull or I don't get to enjoy the fight.

In terms of a rod I would like for the range, having a high quality short rod with in line with your favorite rod would be great to have in the car for a quick flick after work in summer along riverbanks with light plastics.
