I have the same memories of my Granny’s place in Barbourville Ky, my aunt and her friend used to drive all the way to Tazewell for beer and pizza because Knox Co was dry back then.
This is a great restaurant ya'll went to in Tazewell, my wife and I live in Greeneville, TN: We have many mountain views just like in Kentucky. We both grew up in farming all our lives, we have Yoder's in Bulls Gap, and just east of us there is Troyer's, both these places are fantastic. They are a bit pricey but, you can buy about anything in both stores. We think ya'll do such a fantastic job in all your videos wishing you both a blessed day!❤👍💯🙏
You should have gotten the catfish. Best I’ve ever eaten anywhere! Enjoyed your review and yes it is a hidden treasure. Myself and thousands of others have been baptized just down the river from there.

The menu now looks different. I know it changed hands recently. But the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the catfish, the seafood trio, and the jalapeno burger. Their cocktails are also very good. Try the moonshine flight.

The last time I saw a pop machine like that was in the '80s. A gas station in the little town I lived in had one. At the time, a pop was 35 cents. You got the 12 ounce glass disposable bottle, and the machine had a bottle opener built into it.
Those machines bring back so many memories, picking up empty pop bottles along the roadside turning them in for enough money to get a candy bar and a cold pop usually out of a machine like that.
