It's a pleasure to watch and hear brilliant pianists like Martín García García and guests like Hayato Sumino talk about classical music. 💐💐💐

50 minutes listening to 2 of my favorite pianists talking to each other? Am I dreaming?

I’ve been to some smaller amateur musician concert that each classical music piece was explained before the performance. It helped me really appreciate the music more.

Thank you for this interesting conversation! I resonate with your (combined) statement of looking inside for your unique expression, and not to the outside. Researching what has been done in the past, digesting and engaging with it on a personal level and then being present with yourself to explore how you feel and how you can add your unique understanding and voice to the world/ outside.
It also feels like the preference of shorter music, or background noise, is a symptom of how ready we are, in the moment or as a person, to be present with ourselves and going deeper with what is important to us. As background noise, music either reflects or shapes our underlying emotion(s) subconsciously. So in taking the time and interest in allowing space for exploration, I believe we can learn a lot about our values, state of being and desires. But then, not everyone wants to or feels they can take the luxury of spending time with philosophical thinking. For me, this is one of the greatest pleasures and privileges.

Thank you so much for this incredibly interesting project! I'm also really happy that you featured Hayato in the first episode. He’s truly breaking down the barriers between music genres, and his insights into music are so inspiring for someone like me, just an ordinary music lover🥰 I’m already looking forward to the next artist! 🎹

❤😊 great idea ❤Sumino is absolutely right when he says that in these new "modern times" people listen to shortened versions of music more and more! Like, there is no time to listen to some maybe shorter concerts or, God forbid, some piece of classical music that lasts longer than 30 minutes! Classical music needs time, atmosphere (environment) and an instantly "adjusted" soul so that a person can really relax and enjoy such music. I think we could all do it, but most people have either become too lazy or have failed spiritually - emotionally.
However, there will always be an audience for good music. In this case it is classical music which I prefer because it gives so much pleasure that no other genre can. (my observation)

Предисловие программы интересное, слушаю с улыбкой, но хотелось поскорее, чтобы вы блеснули за инструментом.

Absolutely love this idea and great to see Cateen as your first esteemed interviewee. Agree that he switches easily between classical, jazz and pop (Penthouse is such a fun band). Looking forward to many more and to seeing how your program evolves as you cover so many interesting aspects of 'piano' 💖 Also love Hiromi!
