    • @ADPTraining

Well, if you had communications then it's not the CAN network. Look into your gateway module, which controls who's communicating.

So, if I'm correct the High CAM and Low Can have a DC voltage offset at 2.45vdc but have a delta of 2 Vdc. So, if the Negative signal is 1.5Vdc then the positive signal should be 3.5vdc.

I have tried several scanners, including the MB Star, Launch X431, Delphi as we ll as iCarsoft. Neither of them connect. I have voltage at the DLC, I checked resistance between DLC ground to chassis ground and its good, as well as good battery voltage at the DLC and thats good. I cannot connect to any modules. Pls can you advise on what to check next?

Not sure if this is a training video or an ad for some gadget he thinks is the greatest tool of all time. The guy sounds like he was bragging to some drunk at a bar about everything he knows about CAN bus! With all the repetition and foreshadowing, it is nearly impossible to follow and painful to watch!

This is a unique tool and if you want to diagnose CAN Network issues then you have 2 choices. Grab a scope, resistor Load, power probe, somehow link all these together, and also a multimeter. Add a CAN Bus transceiver and good luck.
Otherwise use my tool, connect to the DLC connector and done. Just follow the menu. www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com/OBD_2_DLC_Health_Checker.html

this is a complete waste of time, if you want to diagnose can bus issues, get a scope, and do it properly, if you think you need to buy some stupid gimmick, you obv have no clue how to diagnose a canbus system, and should take your vehicle to a technician that is able to do so. period.

So what is the proper recessive CAN VOLTAGE on a 3.3v CAN Transceiver?
