    For a long time, DRLs have created challenges for LED kits.. No more, though - We've come through with the right solution! Get yours here: www.xenondepot...
    THE ISSUE
    Many vehicles run the high beam headlamps at reduced power to provide the DRL function. This is usually done by what's called PWM, pulse width modulation: instead of a constant, steady feed of electric current, the bulbs are fed a stream of very brief pulses of power averaging 50% of the steady-feed voltage. It's done this way because the maximum safe, effective and legal brightness for a DRL is much lower than the minimum for a high beam headlamp. It looks terrible, but it meets legal requirements, it's cheap to install, and that's pretty much all the automakers care about.
    THE PROBLEM
    LEDs bulbs are different than halogen bulbs. They're instant-on and instant-off, so PWM feed doesn't dim them - it just makes them flicker, which is not only noticeable and annoying, it's also illegal. Many companies claim you can fix the problem by using what they call a "canbus decoder" or capacitor-based "anti-flicker" module to solve the problem, but that's wrong. Some of those devices may eliminate flicker, but your daytime running lights will operate at full high beam intensity and produce lots of glare during the day and dusk - Don't be that guy!
    THE SOLUTION
    The all-new Xtreme Pro DRL Driver, designed and engineered in house and available exclusively from XenonDepot, is a smart two-stage LED headlight bulb driver that enables flicker-free true OEM-style dual-intensity DRL and high beam functionality for our line of Xtreme Pro LED bulbs. When the vehicle calls for daytime running lights, the Xtreme Pro DRL Driver powers the bulbs at 12% of full intensity, - with zero flicker. You get lights that function correctly, the way they're supposed to, with perfect true-white light in both modes.

    Is there a hyper yellow bulb that you can use for a DRL in the 4runner?? I have a 2021 4runner Limited on order and to my knowledge on the 2021 limited the 9005 inner bulb is only used as a DRL. Both high and low beam now is coming from the projector in the 2021

      You could use the Xtreme Pro LED in yellow, you would just need to make sure that you got that DRL harness with the bulbs! Let us know if you have any other questions, have a great day!

    Received a pair of h7s for my 2017 outlander. Having an issue installing them. Power supply setup is fine. But, once I go to insert this new bulb into the light housing, i unable to get it lock it. They circular piece that I saw in the video doesn't have that blue gasket. Like I'm missing a piece for this to lock in place. Any suggestions?

    I have some questions before adding my order on your websites cart. I do have 2007 toyota Camry Hybrid and i did bought a Philips LED 9005 highbeam/DRL but i have some issues on it. The DRL is fleckering most of the time while when i use the highbeam i have no problem with it, so then i tried putting Philips canbus adapter hoping it will resolve the fleckering problem but it won’t. And i ended up phoning the philips company and they says there products won’t work in my vehicle..
    So please can you give me an idea to resolve this issue in your product which one i need to resolve the fleckering issue?
    Thanks

    I got this for my 21 4runner Limited. Even though 21s now come with LED, the DRL still uses the ugly orange looking halogens. I got the LED with DRL driver. However, when installing, I noticed it fits a little loose so there is movement. I tried taking the o-ring from the factory bulb but it didn't make a difference. Anyone try this on a 21 yet?
    ** Took a look again and for some reason it's full on brightness too.

      @@RCGJR_ I gave up and returned them. Couldn't get them to dim to DRL mode. Since I can't really see the light output with the DRL on, I figure the heck with it. Hopefully as more 21s are available, someone will come out with something specific for it.

      @XenonDepotOffRoad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @John Vu @Nothing With those 2021s, they should work just fine with the Xtreme LED Pro lights in there with the DRL driver. Due to a universal fit, the LED bulbs will have a little bit of play, but this will not be enough to effect the beam pattern or light output! As for the DRL not dimming, if you have the amber DRL, then your high beam will; not dim from the factory so the new bulbs will not. You have to have the DRL that uses the same bulb as the low or high beam for that DRL to come on with that high beam bulb. Let us know if you have any other questions, have a great day!

      No, they don't, they cause the bulbs to be 100% bright and blind people. Capacitors act as lowpass filters and smooth the PWM back into a higher voltage - high enough for the LED drive to output brightly.
