    Besides the fact that this solution doesn't provide a lower voltage for DRLs so they are too bright, you're also putting both headlamps on one circuit so you will lose both headlamps if the one fuse blows. That's super dangerous and potentially deadly. This solution should never be used. Both headlamps should be kept on separate circuits.

    @Alla Lighting Automotive LED Bulbs what's the point ? . need that there was a difference in light between DRL and high beam and so that when I use the DRL the lamps do not flicker. when i turn on the high beam, the lamps do not flicker. and one moment. when the DRL is turned on, the lamps will shine at full power. then I'll blind other drivers . so this is not a fix for the problem

    So, there's no actual fix for the DRLs? I mean, this "stops" the flickering by constantly keeping the high beams on, but what about the actual DRLs the way they're intended to work (low intensity brightness)? There's no fix for them?

    • @beebop9808
      @beebop9808 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No not exactly. Yota has done their DLR like this for a long time. My LED's in my 16 Camry take care of this out of the box and doesn't need this mod. But they are also on high when operating as DLR during the day. It isn't a problem for other drivers in the daylight hours. If you're using "Auto" mode on your lights as most do I believe, when low light is detected the headlight function switches to normal operating night time mode. And as long as your low beam is selected it will switch to the low beam projector light. But if not your high beam indicator will light up on the dash instrument cluster and you will notice your lights are on high in the low light outside.
      Leds will operate with AC or DC voltage but they are biased and do not light in reverse current flow. If the car actually dropped the voltage to 7.5 volts the led would burn dimmer. But instead they oscillate the voltage at a lower frequency that reducing current flow and works fine for an incandescent wire filament. But the led is either on or off and doesn't produce light by heating an element. If the frequency was faster it wouldn't flicker but it would still be brighter at the 15v max.
      There's nothing wrong with this installation and doesn't blind anyone but it is a brighter than usual DLR. I believe the newer models now have a separate DLR and don't use the headlight bulbs.
      And there's the novel you requested for the day. lol

    Am I gonna be able to turn off the high beam during night or will this be always on?

    • @MichaelFlare
      @MichaelFlare 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At night when you turn on your headlights, the daytime running lights will be off so that means the high beam bulbs will not be used until you manually flash your high beams. When you are driving in the daytime without the headlight switch on, the high beam bulb will ALWAYS be on but on LOW INTENSITY/POWER so you don't blind people. If you install LEDs for your daytime running lights (same bulb as high beam), then you will be as if you're driving with your high beams on the whole time in the DAYTIME; this video is exactly like that.

    I'm sorry, but I have to comment on this video. The easiest way to get these results for free is to just turn your lights to always on and trigger the high beams. I thought maybe this kit had some kind of switch or maybe there are compatible leds at turn one on in drl and all on in high beam mode, but all this does just just always power the high beams when the car is running. Now instead of flickering light, you are just blinding everyone when you drive at night.

    I've replaced the DRL with LED with the canbus on the 2012 Camry. High beam works fine but the DRL itself flickers. I took off the canbus to see the difference and it flickers at a real rapid speed. But with the canbus on, it flickers slowly and then turns off. I was wonder if there's a method to solve this problem or is there a difference of other canbus to solve this problem without having to removing the DRL fuse, which I would not like to remove the fuse only Incase If I have to replace the fuse only. My 2012 odyssey is doing just fine with the DRL LED with canbus. I just don't know why the Camry isnt doing the same. Besides, it's expected that the DRL LED is gonna be bright. That's why it's "super bright"/"300% brighter"/ "6500K ice white"/ "10,000 lumen" description. And I have no problem with it.

      Thanks for your question, would you please advise whether you have tried to install any extra kits? the reason the bulb as DRL doesn't light up probably your vehicle produce 6V for DRL, which is too low power to light up the LED (normally LED can light up at 9V), we will have a new model 9005 which will work at 6V as DRL and 12V as high beam, they will be available in one month, if you are interested, please let us know,and we will update you once available, this probably solve the issue for your vehicle.
