The top foods to avoid to support a healthy brain are: 1. Omega-6 fatty acids (soy oil, corn oil, canola oil, and cottonseed oil) 2. Sugar 3. I just got back from the Great Minnesota State Fair (again!) and spent a small fortune on an extra virgin olive oil where the owners of the booth farm the olives in a region next to the Mediterranean Sea. They said it has very high levels of polyphenols (700+) I literally bought it because of what I learned from this page. Thank you Dr Berg!
Hey Doc, I applied a lot of Ur tips in lowering cholesterol. Well, I got my bloodwork done & it is excellent. I also went from 270lbs to 205lbs & feel like I’m in my 20s again. I accomplished this all within 10 months. The doctor wanted me to go on medication originally to lower my cholesterol which I turned it down. Well the bottom line, Ur tips worked. I've been taking Omega-3 fish oil for over 15 years everyday. Just think, I can buy this all in the video everyday at work.

Dr Berg, 100% because of YOUR videos, i will start buying grass fed beef AND i will check out the local butchers to see if they have fresh wild caught salmon. He won't answer your questions, Ma'am. By his free videos, he believes he is doing his part. You would probably have to pay for a more comprehensive response. The person who suggested resistance training is most likely correct.
I was preparing lunch one day at the office canteen and a woman was pouring sunflower oil all over her tin of tuna fish. I asked her what she was doing and she stated that she'd heard that fatty fish would help her to lose weight. If I only knew then, what I know now...
Dr. Berg, do you think we should avoid consuming hemp seeds because they are rich in omega-6? I add some to my Greek yogurt as a post-workout snack, but now I have doubts about it.
Big greetings from Norway 🇳🇴 You are incredibly inspiring Dr Berg. We have some of the world's healthiest salmon, and the health benefits are incredible.
Sadly it seems all of your salmon is farm raised, far from healthy. I often wonder why your government allows it. In America we refuse to buy Norwegian salmon if we are looking for healthy salmon.
EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP DR BERG 🙏.. my wife has HS and she's been suffering in a lot of pain, she has flair up boils under her arm pits, n now recently on the vulva.. please dr Berg to me u are the smartest man on this planet n a God send.. whatever advice u give will be worth gold to us. My wife also has PCOS n endometriosis.. but the pain she is feeling in her private parts is so hard for me to watch! Can u please make a video on what ppl with HS should do? N how they can prevent the boils from spreading n coming back 🙏 please n thank you. Much love to u sir, u r a F-in genius n that is an understatement to what u r in my eyes!!
By HS I will guess you mean Hidradenitis Suppurativa. If so your wife has our sympathies, it's a very unpleasant condition without a defined single cause. I hear that loosing excess body-fat and stopping smoking are the first medical recommendations, personally I wonder if there is not an allergic reaction at play as well. With that in mind removing any foods or chemicals within your environment that can cause a skin reaction would be wise. Both PCOS and Endometriosis are made worst by inflammation (running through my head when thinking of HS too.) so keeping a detailed food diary would help isolate any foods (include ingredients) that are effecting her body. If possible explore fasting and then introduce limited foods ONE at a time to find any allergens. Follow the guidance in these videos: www.youtube.com/@DrEricBergDC/search?query=pcos%20 Also despite the urge to be "clean" I might suggest not over washing and avoiding soaps for a period of time to isolate them as possible triggers, many people over-clean themselves causing skin problems by removing natural oils. Good luck.
Yes that's exactly what she has HS.. thank you so much for your help!! 🙏 very very much appreciated!! We are gonna try n note down after she eats.. the problem is we read so many ppls veiws, n so many things had to be dropped by fixing this, for example yeast, dairy, sugar, rice, wheat, all carbs, night shade vegetables.. we are east indian n what i mentioned above is pretty much everything we eat in our home.. i just wish we knew which of the list is what's bothering her n making her flare up instead of giving everything up.. its so sad, I've seen her cry n say she will give up everything cause it hurts for her to even walk.. i hope nobody has to go through this.. just breaks my heart to see my girl go through this, she's the kindest soul I've ever met n I'm blessed to have her!! We will go through this together, hopefully we can pinpoint out what she needs to eat.. she's got a million bottles of supplements from vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, burberine, tumeric n black pepper etc etc.. what to eat, n most importantly what NOT to eat is what we gotta figure out, cause eating all these pills cant be good for u either..
Dr. Berg, please advise for all people who are vegan, and vegetarian like me, I'm vegetarian for decades, and I would like improve the health in a way you advice general ones.
Sir can u make a video on how to make nutritional yeast at home ? There r some recipes on TH-cam but I don’t know which one is right for natural occur b vitamins .
I prefer mackerel and sardines - both of which are always wild-caught, and are higher in Omega 3 than salmon. Wild-caught salmon is impossible to find in many countries, or is very expensive.
The only reason I’m wary of taking in Kale or any vegetables lately is simply because the carnivore diet is working. I’m sick of the bloat, I don’t want to feed the SIBO anymore and I have work coming up after Labor Day. I honestly may never stop doing carnivore! My mood is better and my digestion is improving, especially since I dropped the Erythritol and the Seltzer from the diet, recently. I’ll keep kale in mind though. Thank You, always!

He won't answer your questions, Ma'am. By his free videos, he believes he is doing his part. You would probably have to pay for a more comprehensive response.
The person who suggested resistance training is most likely correct.
Try taking Apple cider vinegar, about a tablespoon a day in a large glass of water.
❤ I thank you every day!
Thanks. Hope you are learning a lot here.
I was preparing lunch one day at the office canteen and a woman was pouring sunflower oil all over her tin of tuna fish. I asked her what she was doing and she stated that she'd heard that fatty fish would help her to lose weight. If I only knew then, what I know now...
She read the headline but not the book.
Dr berg is the best ❤.
Dr. Berg, do you think we should avoid consuming hemp seeds because they are rich in omega-6? I add some to my Greek yogurt as a post-workout snack, but now I have doubts about it.
Never eat seeds they're full of phytates, oxalates and can prevent the absorption of nutrients.
Thanks for valuable information regarding our brain health.
Very glad to be of help.
Lol your country has some of the worst salmon in the world, nobody that’s high iQ touches your farmed salmon
Exactly almost all are farmed. And the wild ones are super expensive
Thank you for all this information. What can I eat instead of salmon? I am allergic to it
Sardines!! Cats best friend!
I don't like fish
Me too
I am itchy after eating eating fish.
fasting can help overcome some allergies@@pritt-i3r
I always eat walnuts....lots of brain healthy nutrients, zero effort to prepare, and they even look like brains!
Thanks sir for sharing 👌 👍
You're welcome!
The more and more we watch Dr. Berg's videos, the "wiser" (our brains will improve) we will become 😂😊❤
😅
Glad to know you found the video helpful!
My brain thanks you, Dr. B🎉🎉 You da best 👌
Glad to be an inspiration!
Dr. Berg, please advise for all people who are vegan, and vegetarian like me, I'm vegetarian for decades, and I would like improve the health in a way you advice general ones.
He made a few videos for vegans.
Sir can u make a video on how to make nutritional yeast at home ? There r some recipes on TH-cam but I don’t know which one is right for natural occur b vitamins .
Hello. Thanks for the video suggestion. Have a nice day!
Thanks for all you do. Please where can we get wild salmon?
I prefer mackerel and sardines - both of which are always wild-caught, and are higher in Omega 3 than salmon. Wild-caught salmon is impossible to find in many countries, or is very expensive.
Wild caught salmon is easily found in canned form. I eat canned salmon mackerel and sardines regularly.
@@aprilthomas1489 Maybe in the US.
@@aurapopescu1875 OK fair enough I live in Canada but still other places might not be so available
Awesome
Wild caught salmon has become crazy expensive. Last time I bought it I paid $27lbs and that was last year.
I pay $15 per pound in U.S. Arizona.
where are you paying $27 per pound. That is outrageous.
You may want to befriend a caring fisherman.
Thanks so much!!
Most welcome!
Awesome! I just ate some yesterday!
Me too! 😁👍🏼
Wonderful!
