Honestly I think she has histrionic personality disorder, it’s less well known and gets confused with narcissistic personality disorder, she isn’t actually a textbook narcissist, just has many of the symptoms

Not individuals with their own natural rights , feelings etc. They feel they have the right to stomp all over others boundaries. I can’t imagine leaving my husband and not even a year later bringing a new boyfriend to LIVE with my children, regardless of how well they already knew him.. let’s look at this from Levi’s POV even though she thinks he was too little to understand at 7 years old.. imagine going from living in a home, which sure maybe wasn’t filled with as much affection as would be ideal, but going from living in a home with your mom and dad where you and all of your little siblings grew up, made memories with both parents, could go to either parent with your problems, could see either parent whenever you wanted, you had a room you loved and felt safe in, all of your items in one place, a home where you felt safe, to three new houses/apartments in a matter of months. You can’t see mom or dad whenever you want, it’s on a schedule, you don’t know if your gonna have to leave your school and all of your friends because mom moved 40 minutes away, you know nothings gonna ever be the same, mom and dad barely even talk unless it involves you anymore, your siblings are changing their behaviors because although they can’t express it in words they DO understand, everything feels so much more hectic, and then your mom, who split your family up “for the better”, brings someone you thought was just her friend, to LIVE with you, and is showing more affection towards him in a romantic way than she ever did your dad, and is probably making you uncomfortable, you don’t know whether this guy is gonna be your stepdad someday and he probably won’t be because mom has only been with him for a few months, and you haven’t even had a full YEAR to adjust to ANY of this. I can imagine Levi, if not all of the kids, are feeling very unsafe or vulnerable or uncomfortable , even if there’s not a physical threat present. But tell me again Kyra, how getting picked up and dropped off is the ONLY hard part of all of this.
not to mention Alaya is only a year or so younger than him, she probably feels the same exact way. Averie and Aura maybe not to this extent but are still feeling the effects.

A truck driver that was texting and driving killed my two nieces and left the oldest with a brain injury, speech impediment, and amputated leg. I do not tolerate texting and driving so f you Kyra for trying to make light of it. You do no wrong in your own mind.
I am starting to think that her ‘anger’ towards Oscar is because she thought he would sit around waiting for her to come back or do anything to get her back and instead he is realising he’s better off and happier without her. The fact that she still has these feelings makes me think she is already starting to realise she has made a mistake. I rewatched one of the podcast vids and realised Preston is only 22. There is no way in hell their relationship is going to last.

Her oldest was five, maybe six, when they broke up…I have a few core memories before the age of six. I vividly remember meeting my younger sister when I was four because it was a life changing moment. There’s no way the oldest two, maybe even three, remember the entire process.

I truly don't understand her and if I were Oscar I'd be furious with her. She claims to have left the relationship to "find herself" and in one video she clearly said she needed to learn how to be alone. So what does she do? Months after breaking up with Oscar, she starts dating her ex best friend's husband and less than a year later they're already living together?! What time did she get to "find herself"? She obviously wanted to just be with Preston. I feel so bad for Oscar. Now he sees someone completely replacing him, someone he was once friends with. Preston now has everything Oscar wants. I literally can't comprehend the fact that I'm kyras age (also 25) and she has 4 kids, cheated on her longterm boyfriend, the father of these kids, and is saying those things. I guess for some people the frontal cortex isn't completely done at 25.
Some theories mention that if you have suffered some type of trauma before 25 your prefrontal Cortex stay like that it doesn't develop correctly due to the trauma and stays the same as the age you suffered the trauma. Technically speaking a pregnancy is a trauma specially if it was a teenage pregnancy so maybe kyra's 18-19 mentally she can still develop her prefrontal Cortex with therapy but she doesn't seem interested in invest into that.

I’ve been through so much involving my mothers ex husband threatening to kill us, beating her in front of us, him selling our things for crack, him taking us to bars, him physically abusing me, him making us eat from dumpsters and much more. You are responsible for your own trauma and how you live your life. The problem with Kyra is that she has zero accountability for her actions, trauma is not her issue.
And I’ll add too that I’ve become a great mother and wife. We’re expecting our third child in 5 weeks or less.

@@ThisBraveHeart same. I have had a toooonnn of trauma and have been able to grow up and my prefrontal cortex is juuuust fine. I can see what the poster is stating, but I believe it’s more HOW one deals with the trauma. Not that the trauma stunts the growth. Hope that makes sense.

Her thinking her children never noticed the lack of affection between her and Oscar is so wrong. Children are so observant they watch and learn from the adults around them. My parents divorced when I was 14 and my mom has brought up my older brother asking her as a young child why her and our dad never hugged/kissed. Kids aren’t oblivious Kyra.
In short, why did Kira leave Oscar! The first reason is that Preston noticed that Kira had a good income, unlike Hana, who used to work as a nanny only, so he began to harass her and persuade her to leave Oscar, and this is what happened, and now Preston is unemployed and Kira is the one who pays for everything, travel and holidays And eating and drinking, and the beneficiary of course is Preston, because he certainly did not date her because of her beauty

I had a roommate once that had 4 dogs and they all lived in their crates. It was so sad...we lived in a 3rd floor apartment and she never took them outside. They had their crates in the 3rd bedroom and they basically got let out to use the toilet on the floor on pads. That was the main reason I moved out. I called the humane society on her and they took them.
Wow what an awful life for those dogs! Glad they were taken from her. That’s definitely not a life for a dog!

I have complex PTSD, a lifetime left over from CSA, and one of the extras it comes with for me is OCD. I’m not a tidy person by any stretch, my OCD presents in the weirdest ways and they are tormenting! My main issue happens in the bathroom and let’s just say I go through toilet paper like nobody’s business! My siblings tease me relentlessly about it, saying I eat toilet paper and that I have to bring my own if I’m visiting them… I’ve never told them why and it kills me a little every time they joke about it. I also have to even things out on either side of my body… eg if I’m drinking something and the cup/straw, bottle top touch the left corner of my mouth I have to touch it to the right… if I touch it too hard on the right I have to go back to the left to lightly even it out; sometimes I takes me several touches to be satisfied that it’s the same on either side. And this is EVERYWHERE on my body! I can’t just let it go. If I’m out I control it but it’s agonizing for me. There’s a bunch more but those are tougher to talk about. OCD is way more than just cleaning and it sucks when people self diagnose their little quirks as OCD, especially when they try to make it cute!
It’s really shocking to see someone wanting to have daycare/ looking after children and having that little comprehension on how important is child’s development before the age of 5, and how stability affects that. However, looking at both Kyra and Oscar, I don’t think either of them is mature or responsible enough, regardless of how she acted, seeing him being so confused with his own daughter’s hair ,not figuring a place out to live right after his house was sold and having 4 kids or still not having proper beds for his children is just bad. Then in the other house they have to live with a stranger and possibly not the last one. I just feel sad for the kids

I kind of have to agree. I like him and think he is trying however he needs to do more, he had it all figured out when they were together I mean they bought 3 houses together and had several apartments, he took care of the kids during her solo trips, etc. parenting and being an adult is not new to him. He’s just going wild because he’s hurt and I hope he doesn’t mess things up in the meantime while figuring it out.

I can see two reasons why he sold the toys/cars:
- he knew he wanted to downsize
- having a huge trailer is a huge commitment and cost. If you’re getting divorced, you’re likely not taking that big rig out solo WITH little kids. Also, that toy hauler was probably mostly for her. Yeah I’m sure he loved it, but he seems to be fine with camping in a tent whereas Kyra wants the amenities
Oscar has always been very good and tight with their money from the beginning. I can’t see him being so wreckless that they didn’t save/invest for a raining day
I grew up in a family that moved around a lot. Believe me, the kids know. They know and this is trauma. Its like she thinks her kids are stupid, Levi will turn 8, he's old enough.
How can she say that the kids didn't even know that she and Oscar were in a relationship and didn't understand the break up??? Comprehending, a toddler maybe no, but they do experience the changes. Around at 4 they for sure understand everything, I looked at her kids ages and they are 7, 6, 3 and 2. My parents separated around my 6th birthday and I totally understood and had a terrible time, in two years I only gained 2kg. That just shows how she doesn't even know her own children.
Editing to add that my parents separation was even easier than hers, they my mom moved to he house next door and my dad stayed. So for sure her kids changing their house into two different and further away, plus adding Preston. That's a lot of changes for those poor kids, I hope they didn't have to change schools or friends

They kids did switch schools, that’s why she’s in the house she’s in now. She wanted them in a better district. my gf's parents split up when her little brother was almost two he still got upset every night because he wanted his dad to tuck him in, he didnt understand why they weren't all together but he definitely noticed it. They all live together again but stayed separated and hes still scared his dads gonna leave again and always asks if they love him or each other, hes 5 now, kids have more opinions than we think.
You’re correct Josh. OCD can be present in many different forms. Mine is being a certain organization, time, and cleanliness. I hate when people that are not diagnosed constantly say “I have OCD”. It’s living in hell and not something to freely say you have when you don’t!
Yep. OCD presents in many ways and IIRC from watching okbaby years ago, kyra's ocd is especially bad when it comes to extreme weather and natural disasters. I dont know how that works exactly, but she does have a diagnosis for that.
Yes! My ocd got worse during my pregnancy and when insane after I had our daughter. Even now a year and a half pp my ocd hasn’t slowed down. I hate hearing “omg my ocd is so bad” when they don’t have true ocd.

I've had it for 28 years before anybody ever talked about it. I didn't even know there was a name for what I was experiencing for years.

I had previously watched them from just after Levi was born, from what I saw one of the big issues is Oscar and he is frugal, he was the saver and she occasionally made comments about it, so if they do have a nest egg it IS because Oscar made that happen.

I hate when people say I’m a single parent I’m responsible for my kids with my money. I grew up in a true single parent home. If you co- parent your not single parent. Im a twin our mom had us on her own, one of us (me) has been chronically ill since before birth and our mom did everything alone. We are in Canada so thankfully everything medically was covered. We had no father around and even now at 28 he has never come around. It drives me nuts when people say that. My biggest pet peeve
My dog is definitely my shadow! We scream out shadow in our house so we don't step on her actually.
She is also crate trained, but we never ever use the crate for punishments! She loves going into her crate for naps and chewing on her favorite toy.
It actually came in handy recently when we had a house fire scare and she ran right to her crate and I was able to keep her safe with us while we were outside waiting for firefighters.
I call my dog stalker because he always follows me everywhere…if I leave the bathroom door open while I take a shower or bath, he gets in with me 🐶
