Oscar is turning out to be such a genuine person. It's hard not to root for him. He's an amazing father, those kids deserve an actual mother.

I agree. He has always been genuine, but Kyra wouldn't let him talk. On the rare occasion she would, I felt like he Wouldn't be able to Express himself. Nowadays, he can do what he always wanted because she is not controlling everything

I’m close in age to Kyra and Oscar, and have watched them grow as I myself grew and it’s CRAZY how Kyra just totally became all of the things she so desperately hoped she wouldn’t be when Levi was born

Her willing to get pregnant again knowing that her doctor told her she could die, is truly selfish. I personally have been in that situation, and we had one child because dying to try and give her a sibling wasn’t worth me risking her being without a mother.

I think she had 4 csections, which does make her at risk because doctors advise to have 2 or max 3 csections

@@br33zinmedically I don’t think she’s being dramatic. She’s had 4 c-sections back to back to back to back. This increases the risk of any future pregnancy significantly. She could literally hemorrhage. Maybe if she would at least wait a few years but she really doesn’t care that she might leave her already 4 kids without a mother. To add right before their break up they got into a huge fight because Oscar wanted her to get her tubes tied after hearing the news and she refused so he said he would get a vasectomy because he wasn’t gonna try and have more kids with her when the doctor said she could die. Meanwhile Preston doesn’t care and is willing to try anyways
Kyra is just like my mom. She went on a quest to find herself and abandoned me and my brother. She will never change. This is who she is. She didn’t want children. She wanted the experience.

And it’s so crazy to see the change, from when Kyra actually started drinking on the Okbaby channel. You could tell it was going to be something she did way more often than what we were seeing on camera. Especially when they started to have game nights with all their old friends that they had met throughout the various places they had lived in Utah. She truly is the embodiment of what she claimed to hate the most and that’s an exact replica of her mother.

Yeah, she is, but Oscar still knows that she is his children’s mother. Oscar can never escape that, but also respects the sanctity of that. It’s just a real shame Kyra doesn’t.
I think Oscar carries a ton of guilt that he picked her as the mother to his children. I really feel for the guy, but he will be fine. His children drive him and his ambitions, where with Kyra her children just drive her away.

However, if it's not a strong family oriented foundation, you know...if the parents fight all the time, or are very unhappy, their children will feed off of that!! They will have detrimental repercussions later in life! Oscar has been very supportive of his children. He will teach them that, "yeah life is hard, but you must not give up. You must forge ahead, admit your share of where you went wrong in the relationship. You also need to admit when you are struggling, and ask for help! Oscar's children will learn from their dad, how to bounce back....even better than before!!
His video was so honest and heartfelt. It was so hard being in this position, it used to kill me when my kids left to stay over with their dad. I wanted to hug him and tell Oscar he was doing great at getting his life together. I hope he takes back his rights with his kids, as it sounds like he gave up due to his depression, as he thought that his kids were being affected by his depression.
What’s sad is they might’ve still been better with him than with their mom
Oscar’s getting solid and consistent income together, working towards a home, getting his kid off social media. He knows what he’s doing.

Oscar is so sweet, I have no doubt that he’ll find the most lovely, perfect life partner that will also truly care for his children as if they were their own, which is something those sweet little babies need desperately because they’re not getting it at their mother’s house.

If Kyra happens to see this please take my advice, stop drinking. It will ruin a family. My mom was so addicted it destroyed her body and her life, she lost custody of me when I was 11. You can find joy in your kids and get help. It may seem harmless now but it can worsen quickly. My mom would hide bottles of alcohol in her closet, under the car seat, etc. I'm saying this out of experience with an alcoholic mom.
Her own mum was an addict so she knows about it, she don't care.
Not to mention alcoholism is probably the #1 WORST thing to detox from. Even over heroin, and other hard drugs. Bc the withdrawal can send you into the shakes, seizures, and death.
She KNOWS all that! Her mother was an addict. And if she stops drinking her and Preston have nothing!
Her mother was the same way. She was an addict and it costed her life. Kyra has LOADS of unhealed trauma and manic episodes that ruin her life. She drinks to cope and hide from her feelings. She needs therapy
I also grew up with an alcoholic abusive mother. There's way too many of us. Being around drunk adults is scary for children, even if they're "nice drunks". I remember waking up in the middle of the night to a house full of people on a weekday because my mother would bring a bunch of people from the bar home to make them breakfast. I was 7 or 8 years old. There were people doing drugs in the bathroom, there were fights, one person punched through a window, there was blood. Sometimes there was no electricity or heat and I would have to go stay with my dad. I remember having to deal with all of the utility people and creditors calling. I remember having to console my mother's drunken sobs. Adult problems should NEVER be made a child's problem. Ever.

Not defending Kyra, but her family is very broken and full of addicts. She didn’t have a good example set by a loving family.. so how could she cherish something she never had or known 90% of her life?

I've never watched Oscars videos (or any of their channels, aside from watching them on here) but I watched his video this morning and it was soooo good. You can tell when someone "cries for the camera" vs when someone is truly showing their emotions.

The engagement ring that Oscar gave Kyra was not hers to keep. It belongs to Oscar. The law recognizes an engagement ring as a promise to marry. If the promise is broken the ring goes back to the buyer. Oscar should not have let her keep it.

Kyra reminds me of girls in my town who got pregnant super young and basically never got a chance to be young and free to travel and party. As they get closer to 30 they go crazy cause they realize they missed this fun part of growing up. I'm not saying people shouldn't have kids young, everyone is different but if you do you need to think about stuff like that. Am I okay giving up on that lifestyle? I had tons of fun in my twenties, I traveled, I experienced a lot of things then now I'm my thirties I'm settled and happy to be with my kid and I would never throw my family away from some random dude
What people don't understand is that you can have kids young and still party and travel when they grow up and leave the house! You'll appreciate it more, too! And you'll have a healthier pregnancy young and more energy to give to your kids 😂

Oscar chose the vasectomy. He did not want the amount of kids she did. She wouldn't stop. He got snipped and she dipped.
I'm pretty sure it's reversible for men as well. But he did make that decision under the assumption that he's stay with the mother of his children forever.

It’s heartbreaking to see Oscar hurt and his whole life was taken but I’m so excited for his future and whatever woman ends up with Oscar will be so lucky. He’s such a smart, hardworking, talented, adventurous, kind guy. I can’t believe Kyra just feels nothing about breaking her family up and moving on so fast.
It's crazy to me how you can see the amount of love Oscar has for their kids and he's not whole without them. I remember when my kids were babies my husband and I entered the “room mate” phase…it happens, your babies take so much from you that it may take years to reconnect with your partner..she just up and left during that phase. Like her baby was 1 yr old….I think kyra was having postpartum depression and was manic…so she left instead of sticking through the tough times with Oscar. So sad. You weather the storm until your kids are grown a little bit and then you and your partner find each other again and you find the love and the romance. Of course your sex life was dry you HAD 4 kids under 6 yrs old!

As a mother... i can't even understand her going out and partying when he has them. going out of town etc. HOW tf is she not feeling the exact thing he is feeling when they aren't there? it just shows her character and i'm glad everyones seeing it.

As a person who was raised by alcoholics seeing Kyra sitting there surrounded by bottles..all I could think of was myself as a child….going to the kitchen for a drink or snack… pushing past and searching through the all the bottles and mess. All I could think is these kids that have to live like that. Like I did. The unsafe feelings and trama that come along with all of it. Ugh. We are supposed to protect our children. Not set them up in an environment for potential chaos and neglect. Oscar deserves more time with his children as far as I can see.
Kyra talks about how responsible she is because she takes a pregnancy test to make sure she's not pregnant so she can drink. She got that bullshit straight from the horse herself. Jess is their leader and if she wants to be friends Kyra better get with it.
I gave Oscar my view. His video is so beautifully made. I felt the true emotions he had. He is a true parent. He is a true man. Kyra lost a great one.
The difference is that Kyra is pretending to be happy and posting on social like her life is great, while Oscar actually took the time to find himself and experience the emotions of a huge life change (and the emotions of how it effected his children) and now he is finding real happiness. Kyra will continue to try and one up him and cause drama, which is so sad and pathetic. Oscar will thrive and have a life outside of TH-cam with his new career.

I’ll be honest, I was subscribed to Kyra at the beginning of their separation and consistently had her videos pushed out to my home page. After a while, they started to disappear and when I would search her up I’d come to find she posted more videos. She’s definitely not being pushed through the algorithm anymore. And just to be clear- I no longer support her, I truly never did, just watched out of curiosity. This is deeply disturbing and I hope Oscar comes to realize their separation was the best thing that could’ve happened to him, despite ruining their family. You cannot happily coexist with a person who wants “more” elsewhere. His kids will come to realize that too, the truth will come out to them.

My marriage ended under very similar circumstances to Oscars relationship. I truly mean it when I say that EVERYONE who goes through a change like that will feel those same emotions. Despair, hopelessness, loneliness. Kyra included. Her fake facade of a perfect life is not real. She is holding all of those emotions within and it will erupt at some point in her life. Good for Oscar for being raw and authentic. I hope he heals

Don't comment much but I was soooooo waiting for this video and you didn't disappoint. I'm so proud of Oscar and how he's dealing with all of this. This is one of the hardest things to go through in life. I won't even mention the other video being discussed here because its not worth my time. I wish him continued healing and hope all the best for him and his kids. They absolutely deserve it.

Oscar is the reason they both walked away with money. He was the saver, he made good choices, and he was the backbone of their channel. She was a spender and they talked about it many times. He worked on himself and is making sure his children have a good future. Shes spending all her money, going on vacations, not worrying about their futures.

I had to go watch Oscar’s video before this and I have to say I’ve never related to an influencer as much as I just did. Breakups from relationships that were essential a marriage without being married with kids aren’t easy and are a rollercoaster. Going from everyday parenting and only leaving during work/trips is a struggle and I did exactly what Oscar has and I slept in my kids room as well on their floor when they weren’t there. It’s a process and a struggle especially when at the end of the day you’re alone and healing and feel like you lost an entire life you thought you had whether it was toxic or amazing

I actually commented on Oscar's video. I normally don't comment on people's video but he and I are in the same position with mental health and I was so relieved to find someone who could help me get through my own thing by showing his process. It's pretty amazing how much he's changed and how good he's doing now.
