I just bought a “cooling towel” you get it wet and it puts off cooling feeling and then bought a neck fan! No having to hold a fan so I hope the combination of those will help! Also bring a UV umbrella for when you’re not under the shade.

My first ever trip got delayed. I wanted to go in Sept, as recommended, for the Halloween and low crowds. However, it's been over 100 in Sept. the last couple years! I'm now planning on going in December. Still kinda warm / hot, but much better!

Yeah, nowhere NEAR as hot in December. We find it very pleasant.

great tips! however the dining specific places and mask rule are going away pretty soon. Keep that in mind!
When i visited Disneyland I cooled off in the stores and did some browsing. The air conditioning helps a lot! when it was available, I could usually sit down at the main street theatre too. it's not that crowded usually. but I believe it is currently part of the Confectionary right now as long as they are remodelling the confectionary.
I noticed that in Pixar Pier there aren't too many shady places either, unless you are near the toilets behind Jessie's Critter Carroussel or stick close to the Incredicoaster tracks. Other places nearby you can cool down are at Ariel's undersea adventure or the river rapids area as mentioned in the video. Another great place to cool down is the Art of animation studio. Though i am not sure if it;s currently open. Same goes for the Hyperion theatre.
