Commerce students have only one option and that is becoming a CA.. There is no other feasible choices that a commerce student can make.. In fact if you don't become a CA, u will be ostracized.. Nobody cares what other qualifications or skills u possess
Same situation is with me and I am totally blanked no clue what to do from where to start. Totally blank ....😢😢😢 As I am from non technical background. And mostly online courses asume that I have some coding technical knowledge.
Inspirational:) and yes this is how it is going to be. Conventional courses after 10th in my days i.e. in 1991 were basically Science, Arts & Commerce. But now its going to be skilled based and job based learning and no classrooms needed as we have so many open sources online to learn from. And, like he mentioned the practical implementation of what you know or have learned is what will matter to grab a job and i.e. Projects. Even a CA at a Public Accounting Firm or a big company deals with huge amounts of data to make decisions for their clients so why should they not go for data analytics ? Firms require XA’s also to make data deiven decisions. A CA!s role is also changing and you should know as you are very experienced.

if ur in your grad and if u have 10+2 maths go for MCA .Then u get eligible for any tech roles of your choice! And if ur working,then go for pg courses in DS. Dont do certification course! A big no! No one will hire u on the basis of certificates. Best way is MCA /pg course in DS . DS roles r given to those who have atleast 1yr of experience in this field. And they do prefer Masters degree in maths/eco/stats/DS related or MCA/MTECH/BTECH/MS computer science/IT

After my graduation I was preparing for entrance exam and that's how I landed pG program is Data Science from one of the premium b school.. post completion of my program I joined Edelweiss as Data Scientist intern later I joined startup based out at London during covid as Data Scientist,after working for an year I got really good opportunity with one of the US mortgage company as Data Scientist now I am enjoying my life and work with with monthly 6 figure salary in india in a span of less than 2 years. But it was because I was well aware of logic flow of any programing language so I would say don't see the salary or name before planning to start your career into it think and analysis of you are the person who can become the tech person or not because to become successful into data science field you need to be an tech person and expert in either Python or R language in terms of programming
In youtube search for "codebasics data analysis project sales insights power BI" Plz follow that project series, you need to work on projects similar to that.
The only qualifications that matters for bcom student are CA and Mba finance from a tier 1 b school.. Data analytics course is designed exclusively for Bsc & engg students.. Even the big 4 audit firms which works predominantly in the finance domain are looking for data analysts with science background that it is a prerequisite for calling yourself a data analyst... Anyone can do it but people from non science background who gets certified as a data analyst will see themselves getting ostracized.. In fact things are getting extremely tough for commerce students since if they fail to qualify as GOD i.e CA , then they are getting thrown into a life of obscurity.. This the harsh reality

you can apply for training first , job is quite hard for you to get , but you can get 4-6 months intership training from big 4

After my graduation I was preparing for entrance exam and that's how I landed pG program is Data Science from one of the premium b school.. post completion of my program I joined Edelweiss as Data Scientist intern later I joined startup based out at London during covid as Data Scientist,after working for an year I got really good opportunity with one of the US mortgage company as Data Scientist now I am enjoying my life and work with with monthly 6 figure salary in india in a span of less than 2 years. But it was because I was well aware of logic flow of any programing language so I would say don't see the salary or name before planning to start your career into it think and analysis of you are the person who can become the tech person or not because to become successful into data science field you need to be an tech person and expert in either Python or R language in terms of programming

The only qualifications that matters for bcom student are CA and Mba finance from a tier 1 b school.. Data analytics course is designed exclusively for Bsc & engg students.. Even the big 4 audit firms which works predominantly in the finance domain are looking for data analysts with science background that it is a prerequisite for calling yourself a data analyst... Anyone can do it but people from non science background who gets certified as a data analyst will see themselves getting ostracized.. In fact things are getting extremely tough for commerce students since if they fail to qualify as GOD i.e CA , then they are getting thrown into a life of obscurity.. This the harsh reality
