Great video! Nice of Jesse to extend this opportunity to you. He is a solid dude, and is a natural in front of the camera. Jesse has it right. The average (non big time TH-camr) doesn't really need a C07 package. I think that Jesse is smart enough, and secure enough in his manhood, to make this kind of rational decision.
Haha Thank you sir 🙏🏾...nothing wrong with Z07s, it's just not something I've ever felt was worth the amount being charged for it. The Z07 package is a performance increase for sure, but kit an extra $30-$40k worth of performance in my eyes for me.

What a great experience!! Jesse is a super nice guy to share his car and his time. I found it very interesting that Jesse - a driver that could realize a benefit from carbon fiber wheels- felt the cost wasn’t worth the benefit. Thank you both for bringing us along for the ride.

I keep debating in my head if I should stick with the Stingray or take it up a notch?
The C8 with basically 500 Horsepower is more than adequate for my age (67) and driving ability, which unfortunately has diminished some due to my eyesight and illness.
The ZO6 is an exciting machine no doubt!!!
But Dirty Harry said it so well: “A man’s got to know his limitations!”

I love just how the ZO6 front end is so forward at the bottom and just looks so much meaner than the Stingray. There's a huge look difference there! Love them both, but that's huge. GM knew exactly what they were doing

I was a die hard 'must be a Z07' when I order mine, but I have been re-thinking that the more I see of the C8 Z06. Although I will track the car, I am not sure that running track events that I will be able to optimize the difference between the standard vs the Z07.
I was too, but I’ve been rethinking That decision a lot lately and this confirmed that I was correctly questioning the Z07 for myself. 😊

Awesome video. Could you comment on the ride harshness of the Z06 in tour mode compared to the base Stingray in tour mode? I love the way my Stingray rides and worried the Z06 may be too harsh in tour mode.
The harshness isn't that bad at all with this car, especially, if you turn it all the way down, you definitely can ride as smooth as possible. If you turn the suspension settings to the most aggressive, setting, it gets harsher, but it's still nowhere near as harsh as something like a C6 Z06.

Just curious if in tour mode the suspension is similar to a Z51 in tour mode or is the Z06 stiffer?
The Z06 is a little stiffer for sure.

Great video guys.. First Chevrolet I have ever owned and absolutely loving our new C8s. I also have laugh with the Ferrari comments and will simply say that I would take this car all day long over our Ferrari. My son had planned on ordering a New turbo 911 this coming year and has changed his mind. He will partner with me on our Z06 purchase. By the way, we care! 😂
911 turbo is an entirely different car than the z06. If he was considering the 911 gt3 then switching to the z06 would make sense. I just don't see how someone can want the experience the 911 turbo offers and then switch to something drastically different

Great news, the prices in our area have dropped,almost $30K in,last few months. Sales manager says demand dropping with interest rates up and a lot of folks switching to the new high performance evs. He says better handling, higher performance for less money and much lower operating costs. A lot of concern about depreciation as evs take over the performance sector.
Test drove a model S and bought on the spot. Can’t ever see going back to old ice cars, they now seem really old fashioned. Thanx for the tip,from my friend the sales manager.

The bronze/ grey wheels actually look amazing. Not only do I like the geometry and look of the wheels but it gives a contrasting color that is also complimentary to the black and orange. I think they look better than the carbon fiber wheels.
Pretty sure the Stingray and Z06 share the same aluminum chassis.
I am sure that if any of your readers got a chance to drive a C8 ZO6 they would probably be a little giddy.
