Damn near everything is a Glock killer, especially Glock themselves. Glock has been stuck in the past for years while everyone else is out-innovating the shit outta them.
The Springfield Armory Echelon will get you killed. When you put a G19 slide on a G47 (full sized) grip you get a G45. To see that the Echelon has that modularity is a point in favor, imo. The problem is that if you run the risk of over inserting an extended magazine and causing a malfunction, then you will definately cause a malfunction if you are in a real fight and are reloading with an entended magazine on an empty chamber and with the slide back. You cannot over insert a Glock ''happy stick'' because they are designed to prevent that from happening. The Echalon looks like an awesome range toy, maybe up to competition worthy, but I wouldn't trust my life or my family's securtity on it. Out of all the channels I have seen reviewing the Echelon, you are the only one that has bothered to mention this detail. Thanks for your honesty. This is ''need to know'' info for anyone thinking on purchasing this product for defensive purposes.
Thanks for the comment and so true about the mags! I know you could put an extended base plate on it but like you said a long Glock mag does not have those type of issues!
You could just, you know, use the mags you're supposed to use with it instead of mags designed for a larger framed gun. The Echelon runs flawlessly with the mags it was intended to use. The reason you haven't seen other channels talk about this is because the 4.0C is new. This issue doesn't happen with the full size Echelon, and it doesn't happen with the C using the CORRECT mags.
Who is still buying Glocks today based on parts availability, police forces use them….blah blah, blah…stop comparing your personal range time to duty/service time. There are so many better options out there. Sheesh.🙄
Why add as a con the use of a wrong size mag? That full size mag does not come included with the compact no matter what variant you get, dumb from your end
I will be getting one to replace my Glock 19 whenever a company makes a comp for it! I use my Glock 45 for duty so i just want to try something different
You press the trigger after the slide locks back when trying to shoot fast. You lower your pistol to meet the incoming fresh mag when reloading. But you have “tactical” in your channel name. Tells me all I need to know.

So let me make sure I understand... If you purchase a glock 19, then purchase and install an after market trigger to replace the absolute garbage one that comes on it. Then order a single use optic mounting plate and put an optic on it that costs more than the gun itself then it's better than the Echelon?
@@dane5160first off . The trijicon rcr used a standard rmr footprint so that “single use optic plate” you speak of can be used to mount most optics. Second i said “OEM” performance trigger. There are plenty glock killer pistols stop being a fanboy
🚨Glock fan boy alert🚨
I'll stick with John wicks gun 🔫
🤘🤘
Every new gun is the Glock killer 😂 yeah right
Sadly true😂
No such thing as a Glock killer
I bet you vote democrat. Lmao most glock guys are. 😆😆😆😆
@ damn dude what a comeback
Damn near everything is a Glock killer, especially Glock themselves. Glock has been stuck in the past for years while everyone else is out-innovating the shit outta them.
@ all this innovative shit is crap and a gimmick they’re simple easy and run
@@frankmischler4424 there's nothing gimmicky about better triggers, better sights, better ergonomics, better slide designs, better optics mounting, better grip textures, etc.
More like the xdme and hellcat pro killer. Grip of hellcat, modified slide of xdme- poof it's a miracle! Echelon 4.0c
🙌🙌
I just dont think glocks can be killed by any gun companies, not a glock fanboy I actually carry a sig.
If it’s for free yes it’s a Glock killer
The insert issue .isn't the guns issue it's the person not using correct mag issues.
I came to say that the title of this video is blasphemous. Cya!
Thanks for the comment, have a great day👍
>glock 19 killer
>$719 MSRP
lol
lmao
😂😂
All these "19" killers? Lets see how they hold up with heavy use and high round counts. Lets see how ubiquitous spare parts are for them too.
My wallet is screaming at me not to buy this right now 😂
Dew it!😂😂
Glock is dead, lmao click bait, people do this weird comparison shit with tech too (iPhone vs Android) smh, nerds.
This is an ad
🤔🤔
Probably riding the slide stop.
I like it ... but the glocks are still nice .
Sooooo.. in conclusion. You should re-title this vid.
😂😂 I added a question mark for ya… keep the suspense built up!
@1stShotTactical haha.. thats true!
Who is still buying Glocks today based on parts availability, police forces use them….blah blah, blah…stop comparing your personal range time to duty/service time. There are so many better options out there. Sheesh.🙄
Why add as a con the use of a wrong size mag? That full size mag does not come included with the compact no matter what variant you get, dumb from your end
my dream come true .love it kkkk
🤘🤘thanks for the comment!
I will be getting one to replace my Glock 19 whenever a company makes a comp for it! I use my Glock 45 for duty so i just want to try something different
Awesome to hear and yes the comp will be awesome for it!
You press the trigger after the slide locks back when trying to shoot fast. You lower your pistol to meet the incoming fresh mag when reloading. But you have “tactical” in your channel name. Tells me all I need to know.
tAcTi-CoOl broooo 😂😂 I’m autistic
Oh wow another compared to…
Smh
Gun is ugly and 10 + 1 is a joke
😂😂
It costs too much, if regular ppl can’t afford it how is it going to kill its competition
Price is right on par with Glock and Sig🤔
The only glock 19 killer… is the glock 45 mos . The Springfield echelon is is a very good option . But Glock 45 Mos With a OEM Performance trigger , foward controls rmr plate witha Trijicon RCR enclosed emmiter 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾 . Cant beat that Glock Reliability. Also BIG FAN OF YOUR CHANNEL. Please do a review of the Daniel Defense PCC when it gets released!!!!!
Oem means that GLOCK MAKES IT . And the plate was only 60 bucks and the trigger was 100. I have shot an echelon before and the echelon trigger in my opinion is better than the STOCK glock trigger, but not the performance trigger. That may be my subjective opinion though.
People these guns are NOT made by Springfield Armory they are DISTRIBUTED by them. They are great guns but will never be a Glock killer Keep in mind over 80% of police departments use Glock for a reason. Good luck having them change. As far as it beating the Glock killer it has a very long way to go.
