Apologies for a long post, but I must share this. . .The other evening, after a long work day, I walked through the garden for a brief escape with pruners in hand. Though my beautiful tall bearded irises were nearly gone for the season, I cut a few smaller Japanese blooms of purple and white, pale green parsley umbrels, blue flowered comfrey, Solomon's Seal, small red roses, wild buttercups, alliums, crimson clover, Bachelor Buttons, Mock orange double blooms, Lambs ear, and rosemary. The result was a lovely, informal yet pleasing bouquet. I was delighted! I have you to thank, Georgie, for opening my eyes to possibilities, to creating an arrangement with what is available in my garden. You are a wonderful educator! Your down-to-earth style paired with creative expertise has truly inspired me to do more than previously imagined. Thank you! Happy Mother's Day to you who are a mentor to so many!
I'm in Australia, I binge watched heaps of your videos over the Mothers day weekend whilst I made bouquets. Your calm soothing voice kept me company, and your videos are always inspiring thankyou!
Inspired by your vlog i have developed a cutting patch in my allotment this year. Thrilled by the ranunculus which are just in bud. Thank you for the inspiration.

I noticed lots of ladybirds in the garden early last month. I have not had black fly on my broad beans this year, however I have noticed a lot of aphids on the rose buds this week! Gorgeous apricot foxgloves- so pretty! Gorgeous Ranunculus, Georgie. Mine aren't flowering yet. Hopefully soon.
@@undinia they are lupin aphids. They decimated my plants a few years ago. The ladybirds didn't seem to touch them so as soon as I see them now, I rub them off quickly. So far, so good- my lupins have stayed well since I started doing this! happy gardening 🙂
Lovely arrangement, 👏👏👏 thankyou for introducing me to sweet rocket, I have a mass of lavender colour on an allotment bed, I’ve given so many bunches of it away and it has a lovely fragrance ,, Best wishes, Lisa

Agreed, so many aphids. They are huge too. My lupins are struggling to cope.

I love the gray-green foliage of rue, but I am so allergic to it, that I have had to completly rid my garden of it.
