43:40 D.I.E. is credited as unknown track but Serge mentions it's "the man you'll never see" th-cam.com/video/hhXZ0PQex3I/w-d-xo.html grateful to have finally seen Serge do a 3-hour set at Perron in Rotterdam for the clone 31 years party. with Aberta Alsam and freddy K supporting. Oh what a night
really interesting interview! i know it is probably because of copyright issues but it would have been nice to listen along to the tracks that were played. is there a tracklist for this?
i heard the first electro tracks in 95. A skate scene from genk collecting all of the Viewlexx, bunker, UR, Metroplex records and oc obscure disco/Italo.. It was a skate scene w guys gathering playing ps1 and N64 and rolling some joints, maybe collecting Smurfs etc.. point being Electro was music for connaisseurs. The records wuld come out in low numbers and you had to rush to the small stores like Sirus from Mastricht to even try and get some. Unless Luke would put one aside. Electro was the most obscure and in a sense sincere music made with a restriction of sounds and research of synths. Close to Warp releases and the Rephlex releases. Anyway.. It was a collectors scene with a great culture. happy to have been a part of it tbh eventho I also liked good underground house music. Anyway! Good Times ;)

Not having the actual sample in this recording is quite an essential part that's missing in such a conversation.
