This has been fun to watch. I'm a golf course superintendent in the Midwest, it's been great to see you inform the public about everything that goes into a project like this.
For who ever is keeping track of the reasons we watch the channel here is the next one: Not only do you have 7 holes(now 8) to a back yard green but you have all the toys to help with whatever is in your head to then make it happen. God I love your life! haha Great camera work and what a job single handedly putting the track back on. Well done all around.
Really looking great!! Appreciate you sharing this as I know it has to be really hard work to handle the big equipment while filming by yourself! Keep up the great work!!
@@SpudRunGolf Very wet winter! I haven’t done much lately due to the weather and getting settled in the new house, but I plan to get back at it soon this spring! On nice days though I have finally started to go out and just hit golf balls and work on my game which has been awesome and has me excited about springtime!!
Jeremy. Love this tweak. The view from up top is awesome! Tough angle too. I think this was a great idea. Ah well great minds think alike....🤣 Plus, cutting trees is fun isnt it!? Can't wait to see how it looks with leaves
Great work, great view and it’s gonna be a fun challenge! Wanna see Eric G. attempt it w/the cigarette hanging ala Arnold Palmer! I see another opportunity for a 2nd BNB in the woods!
If you want more sun you should take trees down around the edge and around the forest where light comes from in the sun's path, this gives you more opportunities for more light. Every bit helps. A golf course I worked for had a company come in and they did the same, instead of focusing on the edge they went up on the hill and after one week they gained 10 mins of sunlight. Instead of taking some trees out in play and right out of play. Some superintendents talked about that in a video, either work on the trees that contribute nothing to play but every so often or get more light for healthier grass. You can always plant nice mulch beds or rock beds...thats something you should do on the hills where you have weeds and trees growing back, would give the golf hole some real appeal beyond it being a golf hole...you can always use ornamentals

I'll admit, I'm very fortunate to have the equipment, it sure does make the projects more fun.
Just watched the cost of building video and started watching this, i think im hooked😂
Hell ya!
Love it mate!! Great vision to see that tee box in that position
I'm guessing it'll be the new favorite hole, I'll have a small fortune in gravel though to make the cart path traversable. haha
@@SpudRunGolf I can imagine!! Nothing is cheap when doing these projects is it 😂 worth every bit though. Love what you’ve done mate, it’s so good
Elevated tee box is gonna be awesome! Great idea.
I think so too!
Great job Jeremy! Can’t wait to see how the course looks come summertime.
You and me both!
This is so freaking cool, this is like every man’s dream

That’s what I’m talking about!
Those trees will keep the B&B heated for the next 3 years!! Looking good!
Got some awesome logs for the Woodmizer sawmill!
Love it!!
I’m from MA I gotta come out and play in the Spring!
The air bnb is called "The woods at Cairn Creek" it's in Chillicothe Ohio
@@SpudRunGolf I’m only about 25 mins from you. Down in Jackson. You ever play any golf at Franklin Valley?
Have you considered building a tower on the back side of your barn as a par-5 tee?
That would be interesting.
I played a 149yard hole with a 150ft drop this weekend. It was sweet. Mississippi National in redwing MN
Beautiful
I don’t know what would be more fun, building the course or playing it.
Just need 6 numbers to match and I’ll find out. 😆
I can say the building part is just as enjoyable. Wish I could tell you which numbers to play.
I can’t wait until this is a full 18 hole gold course 😂😂
Easy Cowboy, I dont think we will make it that far.
That one green will get a lot of plays 😂
Yep, no reason to complain about lack of "reads"
You're cart path gonna give Valley Vista a Run for their money.....lol
You are very correct, I'll have to make up some cart waivers, haha.
ROCK SOLID Oh YEAH!!!! Come on!!!
Haha, I'll run into people in my local town, and they'll say cmon, love it.
awesome

I’m always contemplating my tree removal choices. And I do plan on some decorative landscaping around that tee area.
Rock solid day… 😂
The first shots off of #8.
It's going to be a helluva fun hole to play.
You're gonna have to take out way more trees bruh! No way TNML makes it out of woods in less than three shots.
I can hear the knocking of the trees now!
Jeremy why don't you just my golf course 18 holes ready to go on 130 acres 6300 yards par 70. I want to retire.
Heck yea.
👀
Have you ever thought of putting another hole on the green you could play 9
Holes twice but second 9 to a different hole on same green ?
