@Kirks_Aquariums Definitely not the ballon one. Long fins are sometimes already a problem for the fish, but a bent spine is not something I would breed for (YMMV of course). I don’t have any platy strains at the moment, so maybe something even less fancy would be good enough. I had some in a 40cm cube for a while, but I think that was too small for a proper colony.
Hello from my fish room channel in Chicago, where i am a subscriber to yours. I'm glad you're willing to be patient on growing out your Rainbows. hopefully, a pot of gold at the end :)
Thank you for your humble and genuine attitude towards your enterprise. Keen to see how your going with the other Angel Pairs you have, P Blues and D Blacks. :). FYI my back up to power failures is a small 2 k gen set so everything can be powered. Also happy to help with 6 ft tank as i have done three full re seals on big tanks in past year A 7ft, 6ft. and now on a 5 ft, which i badly need to finish as i have a crop of angels that will need it soon. Stay cool bro and again nice work in the Fish room.
Thank you for the support, I’ve recently finish the silicone job on the 6ft and getting close to setting it up for fish again. All the angels are doing well
Hi mate, just wondered when the power goes does the beneficial bacteria start to die off in the fillters.Pleased everything was OK for you always bit stressful when that happens.especially with you having so many lovely fish.Good luck.
The beneficial bacteria does start to die off in your filters and what not after several hours with no power as far as i know. Didnt have any impacts on my tanks though thankfully
Love that strain of Platy! Makes me want to get some, again.
The hi fin platy or the accidental balloon one? They are a really cool fish though in general

Hello from Australia. Thank you for the support and Rainbows really are worth the wait with the colours they bring
@@Kirks_Aquariums I keep many in my display tank and they keep growing more and more beautiful.
You always keep it exciting Kirk! Glad it wasn't off too long. Bosemanis and the turquoise are coming along. They take there good ole time. ....
I had the same problem with that pump. Replaced twice. Mine fried and wouldn’t function with electricity. Hailea cp-100
