Nice work in the room champ, for what it's worth i agree on your assesment of the P Blue pair, the male hasn't got his groove on and yup i assume it is because of not having to compete for her. I'm on I.G following you if your that way inclined i might be able to help you out with a P Blue Male about 18 monthds old with same degree of stripe mottling and has been in large group tank with other spawining pairs so he should know which end of the hose is the out valve. Also keen to hear how the Blacks are going, did separating them help them get their groove back?? Cheers again bloke

Thank you for the support. So usually i sell female guppies too however this time round i kept the females fo create a new broodstock as i almost lost the strain. Will explain reasons why in a video but they dont get culled

I’ve had success getting angelfish to breed by lowering the temperature to 78F while simultaneously adding tannins. PH is 6.4
I might have to try that, i think it may also be this particular pair of angels too. Ive had great success with many pairs over the years but might try moving them or like you said lowering temp a bit. Thanks for the suggestion

Not entirely sure thr full dimensions but it isnt a very big fish room id say maybe 5m x 3m

hi kirk, great tour regarding your tank for painting instead of waiting for the tank to cycle just get a cheap pump and just transfer the water to the new tank and then pump it back in when you have finished painting the old tank, you can do this with every tank you need to paint its how i did some of my tanks no waiting for the tanks to cycle.....all the best scott

1) The large Geophagus and the one in the back getting picked on the most are males, and the other two look like females. 2) I doubt that the male ram fertilized the eggs, but you'll know that in a few days. If it were a good spawn, either the male or the female, (most of the time it's the female), will be hovering right on top of the eggs as they are developing. Good luck......................

G:DAY KIRK"S CAN U SAY THE SIZE OF TANKS ARE THEY OFF THE SHELF OR U HAVE HAD THEM MADE UP YOUR SIZE U NEED ALL BEST MATE CHEERS
Gday Stephen, most of my smaller tanks are 2ft standard tanks. The tanks with the adult angels are 2ft but wider about 100L Then all the big tanks are 3ft but wide. 3x2x1.5 and 3x1.5x1.5 hope that helps

Are you using the rack it brand racks for some of those tanks? Im looking at these to start my fishroom, how are they?
Yeah i am, that was my first rack i had but have sinced learnt they are ok depending what you want to do but ive heard of even 1000kg shelf bowing after a few years. My one hasnt so far but i like the cinder block and wood rack as i can customise it to my needs
