I always like to see new projects people do, but my favorites are seeing other people's fishroom updates. It's always fun to see what someone else has going on. And ocassionally there are great ideas to try. And you idea, Harlan, of dividing up old tanks is fantastic! Have a fantastic trip, Mate! Cheers! ~Ron
Awesome room and great tips. Can’t wait to see the videos coming! I am wondering if it would work to write the instructions on the glass too for each tank. It’s great you have a fish room sitter!
Love watching your videos! Keep it up, notifications are on My idea: When you are dividing your tanks, put really small holes in the dividing glass so that small fry can get on the other side, when they get bigger they will not be able to go back. Can be super handy for live bearers. Also can try putting spawning mop near the side where the holes are so when the eggs hatch babies will go in the other tank
When I go away I put the right food amount into tablet containers so it’s all exactly what I need and each day whoever is feeding just tips the container into each tank . Pretty cheap from chemist warehouse and it takes the responsibility off the feeder
Brilliant idea on repurposing old large tanks! Does the 3 week trip away include Jason and Nick? Maybe another expedition? 🤞🤞 PS: The new bling is looking good too. 😁😁
@@DesignsByTRex hey thanks for the heads up, it’s not a crack though. I think what your looking at is my silicone gun end. I have throughly searched all tanks for cracks and leaks. The most I’ve seen is light scratches.
I have learned for breeding live bearers is they breed best in a group so for your sword tails add a few more females and if you can another black male.
FIRST.

Cheers from my fish room channel in Chicago, where I'm a subscriber to yours. I'm afraid you'll be middle-aged by the time those Rainbow fry grow up 🤣

@@rrotley1 haha thanks! Maybe 😉
17:00 that crack on the glass looks problematic, wouldn't want that to burst in the future!

Nice plants. Question - do you store fish food in room temperature? Or in the fridge?
@@byz513 my packed processed food is stored at roof temp brine shrimp left overs, egg yolk, and bug buffet milk that I make up I store in a fridge
