I'm in the recovering process of my last week hair transplant on the best clinic of my country. The doctors now advise me to go through some sessions of mesotherapy. Could you please give some advice on that?
Stress is a silent killer yes. But there are natural remedies that can control stress effectively such as herbs ashwagandha, rose root, schisandra, astragalus, reishi, cordyceps, licorice root, holy basil, chamomile, lemon balm and ginseng. Also mineral magnesium and GABA amino acid can control stress. Thus DHT will be controlled and hairloss will not progressing. Better than taking medication
No. Nothing to do with the differing blood supply. If you are really interested in the technical reason why, it is all to do with embryology. The top part of the scalp is from a different part of the embryo than the back. But why do they behave differently... I have no idea. I cannot think of a evolutionary benefit to having hair at the back of the head in preference to the top!
@@TheHairLossShow oh ok thanks doctor! Just subscribed! So far this is the best channel I have found so far in understanding hair loss. I myself only have a little bit of thinning on my temples but am using minoxidil right now and going to be using finasteride in the next week. Am also dermarolling as well. I have really high density hair but I need to start being preventative
@@TheHairLossShow Btw could you guys do a video on effectiveness of Saw Palmetto for hair loss. I know that it is obviously no where near as effective as finasteride but thought it would be a good video idea.
@@TheHairLossShow It's interesting that in a lot of babies the sides begin to grow before the top hair. Also, in a lot of babies the hairline looks like a norwood 3 for quite a while. I wonder if there might be a relation between the baby having hair and what kind of hair and hair loss later in life?
I heard that the implanted hair only last around few years (5y) is that true, does it stimulate the shedding of existing original follicles in area, if I combine it with medical treatment lifelong will it last lifetime/ the expected time for donor site, could you please answer that, I heard lot of stories that people shed implanted hair after few years
awesome info doc! I was wondering, I am on fin and minoxidil currently and I want to do a transplant this year. I know that a part of the hair I currently have isn't "mine" and will just fade away if I stop treatment. If I want a transplant, do I need stop treatment so the doctors exactly know what part isn't balding of my scalp?
Your show is amazing. Can I just make the suggestion... the white board and writing is hard to read. Can you write in more bold handwriting or something to help make it more legible. Thank you
From what I understood, hair transplant is just redistribution of the hair and the hair won't become thicker, so what's the point of the surgery for women who have pattern hair loss??
Like you said, it is about re-distributing the hairs to increase the density of hair in a particular area. For example some women may experience frontal thinning. With a hair transplant, we can distribute hairs from the back of the scalp to the affected area.
Hi team, hope you are all doing well. I’m 26 and want a hair transplant. Thinning on the crown to mid scalp with a receding hairline. My frontal area is getting very thin and I have been on 3mg finasteride a week for 3 months. Can I have a hair transplant to thicken up my thin areas and restore and hairline? I get told you have to be over 30 and that shock loss can happen because I have too much hair at the top still. But it looks awful when it’s windy and you can see straight through my scalp. What are your thoughts, can I have a hair transplant?
Hii Doctor need help i am having male pattern baldness and its going worse days by days. I am already on minoxidil for long period of time and i am just 23 year old. I am looking for permanent solution for this problem
I would see someone who can diagnose your condition first and make sure you have MPHL. You may want to consider starting finasteride since you are losing hair at a young age.
Yes.... Don't do it. Apologies for being cynical. I have not done them myself; BUT I have spent a fair amount of time removing hairs that have become infected, so I am probably not a good person to give you a fair and balanced view point.
these two doctors are two geniuses i'm grateful to be able to have access to their speeches
Hi, can you link the embryology study, very interesting research!

I have a question. Why is taking hair from other parts of your body like for example chest, legs, arms or beard not a common practice?
Because they have different texture & growth cycle so results will un natural & might not last long.
So would you say the hair on the very top of the head is more of an anomaly? And the hair on sides of head and back of head are more like "body hair"
Excellent way you guys explained it
Excellent information!
Another great video. You 2 are great. Godspeed.
Thanks!
I think a major stress levels is what leads to hair loss, and stress leads to muscle tension and then DHT

I hear techniques have been developed to create new/make copies of hair grafts with stem cells ... ie stem cell transplants ... is this true at all?
I thought there was increased blood flow in the lower scalp and sides and that is the reason why. Is this true?

Does the hair grow back in the donor site, where it is removed from??
No
Don't they staple the donor area so it's invisible?
@@keepingitcrypto560 Yes its been proven it can. Normally it takes from 2 to 4 years to create new follicles in donor area, back and sides

Yeah its MPHL i consulted a dermatologist and ensured that and i would like to share my blood reports as well will you
U guys are awesome
Can you talk about synthetic hair transplant
Yes.... Don't do it.
Apologies for being cynical. I have not done them myself; BUT I have spent a fair amount of time removing hairs that have become infected, so I am probably not a good person to give you a fair and balanced view point.
Did you mean cloning hair and transplanting it?
If immune system determines whether your body accepts hair...then maybe it's more of an inflammation or auto immune thing....
does hair transplant damage brain functioning in long term?
No of course not there is no reason for brain to be affected at all.
Yes!

One of the biggest rubbish I heard for a very long time...I can’t believe I wasted 15 precious minutes of my life watching this nonsense
And another fifteen minutes writing your dumb comment.
You're the fucking idiot for watching the whole thing if you think it was rubbish. Jokes on you.
But why, they gave facts. I guess you're stressed out regarding your condition and I hope you ar doing fine now.
