I've got a 2020 Volvo S60 with a twin charged 2.0 engine 318 hp, and have gotten 6.6 l/100km. Almost 43 mpg. And it's not relying on any hybrid help either. With such improvements lately in ICE and the pushback on EV's, one can only hope that ICE will still be around in the future and be powerful to enjoy with small displacements.
Guys I bought Hyundai i40 Diesel CRDI 1.7 from 2012 with premium package. This car is cheap I know but it's surprisingly good car. It has everything and you can buy it from 3000$ up to 15.000$. city drive 6-7 liters depending from driver. It's pretty big car and on the highway it takes around 5 liters. Pushed it to the max to see behaviour and stability it speed up ok but max speed seems to be 225kmh. Full tank 70 liters is around 1000 kilometers with combined driving but if you go highway it's around 1200 to 1300km. This car is cheap to maintain, low mpg, cheap spare parts, low tax, insurances and it's in it's own league. Latest model is from 2018. I think Korea and Japan have better cars than EU.
I am going to be completely honest, I wish we could get more driving videos from you, POVs, drive bys, causing and such. I appreciate the numbers, and in depth reviews though.
I got my 2024 S4 2 days ago and I love it so far. But one thing I am not sure about S4 being mild hybrid. I think only A4 is mild hybrid but s4 is not. Correct me if I’m wrong. Love that Ascari blue though:)
Maybe mention what your "combined" city and highway driving is? Is it 50/50 or 90% highway, 10% city? Was waiting on that for the whole video... we all know the B9 and up A4/S4 is great already lol
Awesome man. On my 24 GLI the best I got on my highway drive I got 5.1/100 km here in Ontario! I'd take that S4 over an M340i.
Wow that’s incredible fuel economy! I love my S4!

Wow that’s incredible fuel mileage. Volvo has really stepped up to the plate.
I’ve gotten 7.3L/100 going highway one way on my q7. Pretty dam good for a heavy suv and v6. Def not getting anything near that in city tho
Wow that’s amazing for a Q7! Yeah in the city is a lot different with all the traffic and stop & go.

Sounds like an amazing economy car!

Congrats! I love the Ascari Blue as well. The S4 does have the mild hybrid system.
Is this diesel ? Because the gasoline B9 S4 isn't a mild hybrid.
No it’s a gas engine

My combined city and highway driving is about 50/50 and I’ve gotten around 9.8L/100km which is still pretty good.
I'm done with Euro cars.. Sorry. They turn into money pits after a few years (as soon as the warranty lapses).
That’s true, German parts are a lot more expensive. The only thing you can control is doing your maintenance on time.
Nice jetta
🤣🤣 thanks
@@TwiinsGarage This is a lovely car though. I just couldn't help myself.
It's actually a Passat lmao. Jetta would be S3
