I can see it now when your on your 5th challenge playthrough doing something like no emblems no flyers playing fire emblem blind folded while listening to an audio book. You'll get to this map and be like I wish I had my shield emblem. All jokes aside that's a super smart tactic. One I wouldn't have thought to try out
Ike's weakness is literally every single backup unit spamming chain attacks not just Lucina. I changed my mind about mounted units being too op once I realized what chain attacks were capable of. Completely bypassing any defense is too op lol.
@Iced Coffee Gaming that method requires nerfing your damage to rely on it,already know about it and it's not worth it when you can just use any other aoe that doesn't have the same risks. Even tiki breath makes more sense than Ike's aoe and it's got same dangers as a smash weapon. The best aoe is corrins beam not because of damage but because it chain reacts and debuffs a ton of enemies making it easy for the rest of your group like tiki to finish em off. Tho let's be honest the worst aoe even if great aether is bad goes to roy outside of miasma fields it's useless since you can only use it once per engage, does damage even worse than Ike not amped and it only lasts 1 turn.
@Aureels my reply with Roy has not aged well, my comment about Ike being terrible still don't feel wrong about it but roy is alot better than I gave credit he has more to offer than just his engage attack.
It might be a normal mode thing, but he only used Ragnell, to say hello, then he changed to the Hammer, and never changed weapons again. Not even when my Clanne was at the edge of his Ragnell range. Even if he was busy trying to murder me, he should have at LEAST used Ragnell, to force me to actually attack him, instead of turtling.
What's the reason behind putting Griffin Knight's above Wyvern Knights? I see it often, just curious what the reasoning is. Because to my eye - Wyvern Riders have a +5 speed skill that's pretty consistent to pull off and access to two weapon types for weapon triangle advantage (more valuable to me than staff usage, personally.) Is it just the growths or better stats?
@@mavericke8945 Not that the skill does anything at all if your entire team is fliers. There are a lot of good utility staffs in this game though, and they generate extra exp which will make them stronger by levelling faster.
lol you can just wait in the middle and kill ike and one turn once he decides to walk, i did this chapter in 8 turns with an average level of 6 for my advanced units
Le gané a Ike congelándolo con Hortensia, y luego ataques mágicos hasta más no poder entre Ivy, Hortensia y Pandreo + danza de la diosa de Byleth y danza de Seadall
I dunno man fliers are nerfed in this game, they can't even fly over walls. there's only very specific spots that they can move where other units can't, like holes and roof tops. other than that it's kinda whatever, for the most part the game doesn't rush you where being able to bypass minor inconveniences will ruin your life. And having only 1 move more than ground units is meh. not to mention their max weapon rank is B, and staff rank is C. with everyone being able to get canter, it really removes what was unique about mounted units.
First playthrough "Bonded shield? Seems a worthless useless gimick to me.... Lucina is really a bad ring" After some hour, and a couple of video on youtube "Ok, now I put Lucina on a character, and I can begin to build all my strategy around her...."
Bonded shield carried me. I was underleveled and would had died without that safety net.

I lost when you asked if that guy was a geodude lmao 🤣 😂 💀
Alacrity, not aclarity

There is a method to counter this, I have a vid going up on it today :)

@@RaidenKaiser Yes but Roy make your unit hit like a truck, so I'm not so dispointed of him because his AOE is bad. Good good Roy, good boy.

The self destruct on that martial master is probably a Hunter x Hunter reference.

The skill only makes him self destruct if he’s under 50% hp and survives the battle lmao (hp remaining)
They really gonna put VOLTORB in the game
@@IcedCoffeeGaming no fr and theres a couple weird skills i encountered in my maddening run like that 😭

If I had to guess its due to their utility. They are able to use staves and their class skill makes all terrain cost a flat 1 movement.

Is there a reason behind only using female + Rosado?
Just running a bunch of flying units in my first run for fun
