So there’s a sensor under the steering column, take the key fob and place it next to the sensor and try to start it. My 2016 did that once. My 2018 did that today. I tried it and it worked.
Re (Zylma Mendoza): We took the car to the dealer 3 seperate times and it was ruled that the electrical system was faulty and Military Auto Sales here in Kaiserslautern Germany refunded our money and we purchased a 2019 Jeep Cherokee and have had no maintenance issues in over a year.
Sorry bud l got one of those pieces of shit too 6000 for a full repair when the problem is in the engine they designed to " improve performance" the only performance being done is in my wallet 😢 .l will NEVER BUY A FORD AGAIN ....

Check fuse F34 and F35. We had the same issue. Harness was chaffed at the transmission mount. TSB 47575 addresses this issue.

Having the same problem now, mine 2017, with actual key to start
let the car sit for like 30 minutes, with everything off, usually when you remote start it and then unlock it right after, it confuses the car.
