This stunning 1958 Chevy Impala Sport Coupe named “Bonnie Sue” has been the centerpiece of one family collection for over 2 decades. Before the current ownership, the Impala was a clean southern car and a prime candidate for a show-worthy restoration. In 2000, the frame-off restoration began, with extensive detail and attention given to every piece of the car. From 18 coats of eye-popping blue paint, to custom upholstery, refinishing the brightwork, and rebuilding the engine, no stone was left unturned. This restoration was a family affair as multiple family members had a significant role in the rebirth of the Impala including the patriarch’s daughter, Bonnie Sue. By 2002, the American classic was ready to show and proved so by winning numerous awards at World of Wheels and James Dean. Over the last 2 decades, only 2,100 careful miles have been added under the watchful ownership of one enthusiast family. MOTORVAULT is proud to represent this exquisite American legend from the first year of Impala production.
