  • In this video I show you the location of the horn, horn fuse, and horn relay location on my 2006 Toyota Corolla. This should be the same process for the Toyota Corolla years 2003 to 2008. If your horn is not working, these are all possible reasons why it isn't.

Thank you! I found the other fuse box but I'm glad I watched this video before pulling anything out. How do you know/ how can you tell if you have to replace the relay?

It seems Todd will not answer the oft-repeated question of how to check the relay. Assuming the battery and fuse are good: If you can access the 12v contacts on the installed relay, and you leave the battery connected, you can test the voltage output with a meter. If it’s 0, the problem is the relay or the wiring back to the battery. If the relay output is12v, and the voltage at the horn is also 12v, then the horn is defunct. If it’s 12v at the relay and not at the horn, then the problem is the wiring to the horn.

Is there any indication on the relay to know whether or not it needs to be replaced?

Do you need to disconnect the battery to change the fuse?

No need to disconnect the battery if you are only dealing with fuses, but claxonwise yes
