@@BestCarModsumm idk pretty much anything but maybe a video on the different programming tools/computers you have and their functions/ how you use them to work on the cars
@@BestCarMods I work at ZF as R&D engineer, this value is in all our internal documents. However it does not hurt to do it at 100 000km as you said, it is really dependent on how hard you drive your car (frequent brake boosting for example is not good for the fluid).
@@miro6138 because I am crazy regarding details, I have seen lower values for the zf gearbox in a pack that I received from Zf a long time ago. Just tracing info on the documentation available now online I see that in the spec for List of lubricants TE-ML 11 in 2012: www.meeknet.co.uk/E64/Gearboxes/ZF%20List%20ATF%20LubricantsTE-ML%2011_en0700.pdf page 4 vs 2024 aftermarket.zf.com/remotemedia/lol-lubricants/lol-en/lol-te-ml-11-en.pdf there has been a change of recommend mileage limits. page 6
@@BestCarMods Nice catch, I did not know about those older recommendations. But hey, in my car I would not go over 100k anyways, more frequent is always better.
Who changes their gearbox oil at 40 or even 60k miles. 100k possibly, but I doubt it. For low mileage vehicles oxidation of the oil is still a problem, so 2 years max. for engine and 5 years for gearbox, unless, of course, you throw your vehicles away after 5 years.
Very excited for this channel! Good work!
thank you for the kind words. do you have any specific topics that you would like seeing in the future videos ?

@@Twitledum9 noted.
ZF recommended oil change interval for 6hp and 8hp is 150 000 km btw.
could you please share the source of that information ?
