Seems like whatever is generating these iterations (going off the theory that these are generated by some sort of machine) had a hard time with this one. The mimiga village loses its background after quote enters and leaves the “garden” room, and you can notice the music begin to break down a few seconds before it cuts off completely. We don’t get any hints as to what iteration this is in the description, but if I had to guess I would say iteration 5. The unusually high amount of health is one thing that reminds me of iteration 5. The use of basic tile boxes for most of the geometry also seems to suggest this, as we can see this in Heart (although there it looks to be much more random) which is another iteration 5 upload. Looking back on that now, it’s very strange that most of that video we see seemingly randomly generated areas until we find the rooms that house the computer that would’ve been used to send something to iteration 6. That part seems much more human-designed, if that makes sense. Now that I think about it, you also have to wonder if a machine could design the system used to transfer things between iterations, or if said system was man-made. Maybe this whole thing is a mix of both man-made and machine-generated? Who knows.
Our uploader mentions in the description they may respond to some comments, so, a couple questions for our friend. 1) Is there a name we should call you? 2) Where are you? You mentioned having pretty limited access outside of the system you're using; are you trapped somewhere? 3) How did you find the terminal you're using? Did you seek it out, or did you just stumble on it? I have more questions, but starting simple seems wise.
Question 1: Did you create the generator for these iterations, and if not, do we know who did? Question 2: Where did you find these recordings and do you know/can you remember where they came from? Question 3: What Iteration is this? Info: At first, I thought this was a new, less advanced iteration. The AI seems to be guessing what to put and where. 1:18 like here, the AI seems to be going batshit insane! 0:27 Look closely here, after Quote enters the door, Mimiga Town completely loses it's background! However, I saw another commenter suggest that this is Iteration 5, and I feel like that's also a likely answer. The wide open spaces is something heart (Iteration 5) and this video have in common, and both Iteration 5 and this seem to really be fucking it up xD. I wonder what the goal of these Iterations were, I guess we'll have to see where this goes.
This time the generation was less casual than other videos. It basically reproduced the mimiga village but in a very stylized way. Still there are some parts that are broken. Maybe whatever thing is generating these interactions is trying to adapt to the full version of Cave Story and it's getting better to it
There wasn't any indication of it at all. Originally, all I could do was upload recordings or edit descriptions of videos I already uploaded. Only a few days ago did I notice a view counter for each upload, which certainly wasn't there before, and now only today I can see comments.
This cave story alpha gameplay make me feeling uncanny when see weird room with tall wall and nothing inside glitching texture and disappear npc after losing contact to it.
snake, super missile, fireball and bubbline with 58 max hp and booster 0.8. strikingly similar to the loadout in Heart although with no nemesis and a bit less hp
looks like whatever's generating these broke down, it just totally gave up on some rooms. i wonder what the deal was with that robot dude at the end as well?

Refer to me however you want to.
I'm not trapped, but I don't have
much else to do where I've been
staying.
@@dou_i What operating system do you use?
i dont know why but it looks fun to traverse the broken terrain at 1:19
the thrill of looking for something that might not even be there
At 2:30, there is text at the top that says “Executed DPN0200”.
What does it mean?
DNP is a TSC command that deletes NPCs. The blue robot had ID 200 and was deleted.
@@ItsYee64This is actually pretty helpful, thanks

There are thousands of recordings

I only uploads the ones I find the

Is it possible to shut down an iteration?
I don't know how to "shut them
down" willingly, nor do I want to.
@@dou_i by the way, what if an iteration suffers corruption?
oh word?
