Yeah, please do that. Every recipe requires 10 bowls, a blender and standmixer, a dutch oven, kitchenAid and ingredients you never ever have at home. Who buys this stuff just to cook with it once. Just substitute, mix in maybe 2 bowls and whack it in a pan.

im honestly really impressed with how much your production quality increased like the chicken is slightly less radioactive and we're no longer substituting a 50 ingredient dish with one ingredient
"But lazier" is how I do most of my cooking. The exciting part is figuring out what you can compromise on and what you actually need to do to not ruin the dish.
I was in Korea in 2002 to 2005 and I was shocked by how good the chicken was there, I am glad it is now available for everyone to enjoy and me too in Canada where I live, there are Korean chicken places everywhere now (none even 10 years ago).
I really like how you show the reality of certain cooking techniques at home, e.g. eyeballing all your spices and pouring them straight from the containers rather than putting them all into 8 million bowls, as well as the fact you don't gloss up your food with lights/colors and show what it actually looks like throughout the whole process. Nice job team.
I realised they put it in the million bowls 1) not to show the brand they're using if they're not getting paid 2) not to mess with original packaging and focus on the filming
probably I've been binge watching your videos one after the other but yk I've noticed you dont actually sound that monotone all the time. like i could tell from the slight jump in your voice how excited you were when the fried chicken came out perfect. how cute is that 🥺
Man. Cooking videos ain't easy, and the whole social media cooking thing is hyper competitive. Congrats on hitting a formula that works for you, is inventive and super entertaining. I hope you keep booming with success.
I really like that even though you don't have all the ingredients for a dish, you show that it's perfectly okay and the end result will still be tasty.

That sounds like a lot of work 😂 he’s probably just going to do it his way, with the corner cutting, and in the end be like “whelp seems pretty good, didn’t need to do all that extra shit”

I love this so much because I always thought his videos were unrealistically upbeat and uncanny. I would love to see videos talking about how he only spends x amount of money on a whole meal. Like where tf is he paying less than a dollar for 10 ingredients?
Those videos are so misleading because he gets to those numbers by buying in bulk, which requires a hige initial investment. It gets "cheaper" when you calculate how many dishes you can make with the bulk ingridients.
i know that one day u will be a supper good chef and i know at the start u dont think that but belive in me . and your videos make me so happy to see you do things u like and do the things are the best for you
