    Great Video! In the video (~1:57 secs) you mentioned using a cheap arcade stick. Which one do you have?

      Thanks! The arcade stick I have is a PXN-0082. It has nearly doubled in price since I got it however.

      @@2000DC Thanks for the quick reply. I've tried that one very recently with RetroPie and its really quite bad, maybe their quality has dipped. I had better control with a xbox D-pad joystick (which I hate using anything D-pad). The search continues... thanks!

      As I got it so cheap I was more forgiving of it. I found the button response was mostly good but the joystick is quite loose and easy to hit the wrong direction when going for diagonals. Not great for games that are usually played with a 4 way joystick.

    Does SPEEDLINK SL-650212 only support D input?? Isn’t X input supported??

    Is this competition pro recommended to be used with TheC64 maxi ?

    • @2000DC
      @2000DC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It looks like it is compatible from a fan website, but I don't have a maxi to test that it works. If it does work I'd say it's an upgrade from the bundled one.

    Hi may be a silly question would this work as a joystick for farming simulator?

      If it's on PC it should do. Works as a four button controller on Windows.

    5:55 This is a remake of "Mr Do!" but trust me, the original is MUCH better.

      Ah! Something I have never played, so no wonder I didn't know what it was. Just watched some footage, think I need to play the original.

    Works on Mac M1 as well, at least with Vice

    So it's relatively stiff?

    • @2000DC
      @2000DC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, considerably more than any other joystick I've had before or since. Fine for most games but too stiff for anything that needs wiggling.

      @@2000DC Thank you. That'll save me some money.

    Great review and delivery.
    I brought one myself and yes the stick is a bit stiff but it's great for precision movements, sadly the same can't be said for the buttons.
    The buttons after a while hurt your thumb to the point I was in so much pain I had to stop, the right button didn't activate at times, you have to press it dead center or it doesn't work.
    The games which included were awful, truly awful, stick to the originals.
    All we need is someone to release either a Tac-2 or Zipstick USB, then we're taking 👍

      The buttons, particularly the front two are quite heavy, but I don't mind too much when it has the turbo fire. They would be better if they had a bit less resistance I agree.
      I went into the games with pretty low expectations, I was pleased that some of them were ok. But they aren't good enough to buy the stick for.

      Hey, the pain the fingers is authentic 80s experience! :D As I kid I used adhesive bandage to protect my thumbs. Protip. After bandage you can click much faster and that's how the records are broken! And oh yeah, the buttons should break down as well after a while. And metal stick should bend. That's when you know to buy new one.
