I love how ‘human’ Middle-Eastern cities are. Like an actual city, you know. Little shops, cafés and boutiques, small streets packed with artists, market stalls, busy and noisy. Not like the gridworks of most contemporary cities, where people(myself included unfortunately) live by the highway, the stoplight and the grand office blocks that turn into miniscule ghost towns after 17:00.
