On the streets, Syrians remain uneasy on America's war on terrorism:

It's sad to see some of these statements by Syrians, and think of what has become of this country.
People there had dreams, aspirations, and now they have nothing but war and uncertainty. I hope things change.

War ruins everything without war and dictatorship Syria might had been a rich country now

    • @sam00ra

It already was a rich country. Syria had the 5th highest GDP in Asia before the war. Jihadists backed by the CIA and Mossad ruined Syria

They used to have too many problems.
    Syria was far from perfection.
But.. Still.. It's better than suffering from war.
Syrian people must be missing that problematic country "Before War"
Praying for Syrian people.. Peace in Syria.

Once the American terrorist state is disarmed, there will be peace in Syria. Understand that their problems were caused by America’s annexation of Palestine

Just wanna make one rhing clear as a syrian dat saw dis after all dis time, dis is propoganda to have da narrative of da government specially da president is bad cause syria is against zionism, see hoe dey say da lebanese resistance is *errorists and syria is afraid of becomin da next target of "USs war on *errorism" if dat aint hilariously obvious what their intention is

Thanks for contacting me. I think my experience had a lot to do with the fact that I was working in Damascus and being treated poorly by my local employer. By my own admission, I tend to generalize things when I have very bad experiences from just a few limited people from a particular group or nationality. I would like to share my experiences and chat with you further if you are open to that. Thanks again for the message.

This video wasn't made to show how beautiful or how ugly Syria is. This video was made to deliver the Syrian people's pointview about their government, their society, and their conflict with Israel. It's a pointview that the American public in particular doesn't get to hear too often. It's unpatriotic to say good things about Middle Eastern countries other than Israel especially on FoxNews.

If you look at Syrian TV shows from the 70's with Ghawar al-Toshi and people like that it is so different from what is shown today. Back then the country was so much more liberal. Only like 10% of women wore a veil. Syrian was becoming part of the modern world. However today it is so conservative and religious. More like 80% of women have a veil.
