I came here for pure entertainment (always wanted to crack a a window with these hammers in public transportation) but I actually learned something useful that might save my life someday 👍🏻 keep it up
Thank you for demonstrating. Very impressive. However, it would have been very helpful if you named the products you used in the description with links to the actual product on your website as I can't find them.
This is so cool. I want that center punch. I hope im saying that right cuz im finna type it into amazon. I need that in my life. Never needed one before but life's unpredictable. Very helpful video. Thanks guys
There were hundreds of reviews of an Amazon tool which looked just like this that said it only works on Windows before 2015; car manufacturers changed the glass in the windows from 2015 on and made it more difficult to break.
My hammer arrived today from China. Instructions state “use your head to push on the four corners of the window”. Thank God for You Tube. I could have been found drowned in my car with bumps all over my head. 😢😢
GFD that was entertaining! I got worried about recommending one of these devices (I have one in the car) for so long because I never tested it out, but it’s not practical or easy to test it out. Boom, Yoitube saves the day. Perfect video, great demonstrations. I guess the only thing that is missing (to be comprehensive) is to show the seatbelt being cut with the orange hammer
You can disguard the first demonstration as the window is not supported on all 4 sides as it would be if it was on a vehicle. Pushing anything on a pain of glass only supported on one edge will break the glass.
I REALLY want that hammer now. I used to run a facebook page for missing people and so many of them were found in their cars, in water. Think how many of them could have been saved if they would have had this.
as a former Boy Scout, I always try to "Be Prepared" but there are limitations. This may be one. . How many cases of people stuck in a car under water, or on fire, or where you have to get out immediately actually happen? But fear is a driving factor for marketing. That's why insurance is the biggest scam business.
I follow the link they provided & searched their site for "glass hammer" which is what Sue said the tool is called and their website tells me there are no results 😳 😣 for that product. What?
Mine works as follows: When you push/press the front side (where the hole is) against the glass, a spring inside the tool releases a pointed metal peg that then shatters the glass. You can test it on a sturdy cardboard box, where you'll see the indent/hole that the pointed metal peg leaves behind. When done correctly, it almost sounds like a nail gun. As for the seatbelt cutter: first remove the keychain part to which the ring is attached otherwise you won't be able to slide the seatbelt toward the blades. I have two of them in addition to the Life Hammer with seatbelt cutter - one on my keychain, one without the keychain part in my handbag, and the Life Hammer in the car. With temps up to 120F in the valley in Los Angeles, and people still leaving kids and pets in cars, this tool can save lives. CA law allows the breaking of car windows in such situations. It also makes for an inexpensive yet very useful gift.
I think this device is a "must have device" mainly because i have seen too many films where a car enters the water and sinks with the occupants (actors) inside. At the end of the film "What Lies Beneath" starring Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer there is a frightening scene where a car enters the water and is slowly sinking and the water is slowly rising inside and Michelle Pfeiffer is desperately trying to escape, it very claustrophobic to watch.
I come here to see how one could quickly rescue himself from within the trapped vehicle after watching the news of the iPhone city (Zhengzhou) in China recently suffering from deluge and tens of thousands of cars were in predicament, some in a confined tunnel.

Extremely helpful video, especially the inclusion of how to break a window that has tint film on it, thank you!

+Invictus Thanks for watching!
Came for revenge
" Or unfortunately, all of the above"
How unfortunate would it be to be trapped in a car that's under water and on fire at the same time lol
I can imagine the interior being on fire while the car is submerging into the water upside-down.
These comments are the reason i have trust issue now 😅
Thank you for demonstrating. Very impressive. However, it would have been very helpful if you named the products you used in the description with links to the actual product on your website as I can't find them.
Please give advice on where/how
to secure inside the car so it is easily accessed in an accident or if submerged.
I curious about how to break the window with that tiny hammer on marketplace. And now I ended up here. Thanks for this super helpful video 💜
Sue is my hero, watching the replay of her first glass break, and her facial reaction, I want her as my friend lol
Thank you for this. I'll sit down and watch it with my kids.

Every EMS ( ambulance, fire, police ) should have this tool to save kids, pets, seniors from hot temperature cars.
0:59 realising that placing the GoPro in that location wasn’t smart.
It was actually ingenious.

Water presser is going to be strong and maybe bring all the glass inside.
Also, need to see these tools with safety glass used now.

Great video, very informative!!!
Can you do a video on how to cut a car seat for kids if you are trapped and need to get out really fast
Isn’t it very dangerous to cut the seatbelt in such emergencies? What if inflict a cut on the person or child instead?? 😳
My hammer arrived today from China. Instructions state “use your head to push on the four corners of the window”. Thank God for You Tube. I could have been found drowned in my car with bumps all over my head. 😢😢
Does the tool work on *laminated* glass??
Thank you for your great video.
Where can I buy this item.? Thanks

What's that punch/blade on 00:50?
Hey, I have no idea how the safety hammer works. Did she twist or push anything to get that hammer to work?
Was the glass laminated or what? If not what do you do to get out from car with laminated glass.
wouldn’t it be impossible to push the window out of the car if it were underwater due to the pressure?
How does the hammer one work if you're under water
Thx I learned the proper way to use it because they said to smash it in the bottom of the window ❤
Thank you!
Where’s the best place to mount it in my car? Tips on that, please.
I would keep it in the centre console or mount it to the sun visor.
Great video thank you
Nice thanks for the info
've heard they don't work on laminated glass.
Good vid. Great tips

that's not true. you also don't know how to spell discard.
Every new car purchase should come with one
Awesome. Thanks!
Thanks for efforts
Ima start using these
it's satisfying ~
It may be a good idea to keep a hammer in the backseat and another in front seat.
Very helpful
use your foot to push the glass out
+justin Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
How can we even try to push the window outwards with hands or feet if the car goes into the water? Would water pressure push the broken glass inward?
Is it better to slightly open the window first.
can this hammer breaks the granite tile 🤔🤔
Saving this video in case I get trapped in my burning car, I can just look up this video real quick.
+Justin Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Amazon has super fast shipping but I'm not sure they'll ship to a partially submerged car.
Great video - Thank you!

san fransico thanks you for this video
AWESOME!!
I'm still trying to find a car to test my new hammer
I wish the demonstrators would wear face shield instead of eye goggles. Anyway nice educational clip, thanks!

Does window w/tint film help slow car thieves down?
Nice..

Think that would break the glass on an old tube tv. That glass is thick

1:45 looks like a perfectly good car..... are you going to replace the window after you broke it from doing a demonstration?
No, the car is now broken.

Now let's talk about laminated glass
Good to have if ur in trouble ;)

Soooo you just put the object on the glass and it breaks or to you push a button or something to engage the window breaker? Doesn't make sense!

Yeah but in a real life or death situation your not using eye safety goggles or gloves either

this is genuinely the stupidest thing I've seen in a while
With a comment like that it is clear who is really stupid. If u don't know it yet seat belts can get stuck and not open "genius".
