Happy new year. 🎊🎆 So I have a podcast and it’s all about art and art life and giving art tips to aspiring artist and I also have my live artist series that I do have on Facebook but I would really appreciate if you guys could give a budget friendly option this option that you were given is still ranging to like almost $1000 I’m not trying to spend that much right now? Or can you recommend something specifically for Cell phones setup?
Yes!! I am starting a podcast , where students can call and i help them with english subject..my budget is under 500$..but i will be using my samsung phone camera..your videos helped me a lot to decide..thanks! Btw i'm in Ethiopia.
Looking at getting into the game as a reach out to fellow veterans. Just a resorce to allow people to call in and share military stories and/or life experiences transitioning out to civilian life. 100% new to it so there's a lot to learn!!!
Please, can you do a video about how you edit the podcast video? How you combined the multiple angles and how you synched up the audio? That would help so much. But thank you for this great video. It was very helpful.
I’m guessing you take the audio recording and load it to a video editing program, along with your videos, and match the audio with the video audio with all of the video files… would take some time but as soon as you match the audios, editing the cameras cuts should be easy from there
Starting a TH-cam channel was by far the best decision I've ever made in my life. But I thought about starting a podcast. The internet has so much opportunity available. We just need to take advantage and take action. This is indeed the greatest and easiest time to become an entrepreneur, thanks to the internet. Happy 2020 everyone😊🍾🙌🏾
Yes , been thinking of podcasts, one for beauty secrets , for those who cannot afford the high end beauty products, and tips on wedding planning. Thank you for the info
Thanks for this video. I’m glad I found your channel. I am working on starting a video podcast with my son. Who is a wrestler working towards his long time goal to make Team USA for Wrestling.
If I was to do a video podcast would you suggest me doing with it my current channel already or is it a better idea to start a fresh channel for just the podcast content?
Thank you for all your advice with video podcasts, I recently started The Reckless Experience with Mark podcast on Spotify and adjusting from just audio to video episodes. thanks again for making these great videos.
I'm glad I found your channel. I'm on a similar niche so you give me lots of inspiration to learn more about the products for my channel. Love your videos. Thankyou.
Starting up my urban community podcast. Unfortunately I will be changing ther name and format due to creative differences. The new name will be THE BLOCK Podcast. Got mostly all of my equipment just grabbing up some cameras now so your video really gave me some good advice. I truly appreciate you taking the time to create some helpful content. Hope you can tune in once im up and going in a few weeks. Thanks once again.
Awesome. Powering through your vids! Working on the video aspect of my podcast now - have done completely audio only until now because I've been doing a lot of interviews remotely (for obvious social-distancing reasons lol). Thanks for the tips!
Interesting video! We only have one Panasonic Handycam and one Zoom H1n for interviews and a future podcast, but we will take a look again to this video when we get more cameras and recorders. Greetings from Spain.
Thank you, this looks interesting. One more question. What’s your best current video for equipment, cameras, mic and lighting for tutorial type TH-cam videos. I work on a tabletop/countertop and laptop or iPad for crafting and cooking videos. Want the ability to switch from computer screen to at least 2 different camera angles during tutorials, recorded and live. So with the above mentioned software, what are the good hardware options. I need to up my game now, I’ve got 7,000+ subs and want to keep growing! Thanks!
I can't really use this kind of setup, because I don't have someone doing production. What cameras or camcorders do you suggest if I want to shoot continuous 2-3 hour conversations?
Now that DVE is out of business any ideas where to buy those lights - Are they made by someone else now or is there something equivalent you can recommend?
Friend and I are starting one. We were doing a Pro Wrestling exclusive cast since he had been in the business, but we're thinking about doing a longer form geek content cast covering board games, tv, movies, and wrestling and make the old cast more of a segment.
What basic equipment would you recommend for zoom calls? Basically, we have 2 people on one PC (me and an elderly family member, who is hard to hear) with another person on the other end, like a doctor. Would 2 Blackwire C5220 headsets for us do the trick? How do we connect and manage on our 1 PC to talk to another person on zoom? Or do we need a base Yeti? Of course, for a family member to hear better a headset would work, but I would not be able to hear the person on the other end of the zoom.
Hey! Im looking at video cameras for podcasts and from what I've seen camcorders seem to be the perfect choice. They also typically cost much less and can record for very long time. Any reason I shouldn't use these and would prefer something like the Canon G7?
How do you connect the multiple cameras? Or rather, what are you connecting them to? Directly to the computer? or is there another device they are connected to?
I just got the Zoom H6 and the Canon M50! I can’t afford the Shure Mics, however I am considering either the Samson Q2U, or Rode Podmic. What do you think?
Great video - thank you!!! Are the autofocus/focus issues on the G7x miii fixed to the point that you’re confident the cameras won’t let you down in a setup like this?
Autofocus set to manual on all cameras in this case. Because yet - there are AF issues on the g7x mark iii (video review th-cam.com/video/thxH1YJPKbQ/w-d-xo.html)
Im looking in to starting a video-podcast, and «normal» podcast about the hiphop society here in Norway. Both including old school, and newer artists. I am a DJ, so it will have a radio-vibe, where i will play some music in between segments:)
Hi Omar, thanks for the video, question please. The Canon camera you are suggesting, doesn't it have a 29 minute 59 second record time limit before it automatically stops? What do you do then? Just press the shutter release to start a new clip? What if you're not paying attention to the time limit?
Question: is the client buying those three canon cameras from you, or are they “renting” it from think media or you as part of the service to record the podcast? Just curious because I’m in a similar situation with some clients. (Offering to use my hardware instead of having them buy all of it)
I run the SM7B but the better bang for the buck is the SE Dynacaster and no need to buy a cloud lifter because it has it installed and sounds just as good as the SM7B with a $299 price tag
Very Nice Video. 🔴 🟡does a standing tripod come with the bi colour ring light? If it does not which tripod are you using with the ring light in your video? Please provide link. Thank you! 🔵🔴
I'm confused on how to connect a Shure SM7B to a macbook for a video podcast. I'm looking at connecting the Shure microphone via XLR cable to a Shure X2U Adapter, then to the macbook. How is this different from connecting the Shure microphone via XLR cable to a cloudlifter, then to a recorder? Can you explain the differences between connecting directly to a laptop using an adapter vs connecting to a recorder, and which produces the best audio? Thank you!!
I have three mics in my setup but each of them seem to be picking up the sound of all the people around the table which sounds terrible in the recording, anything I can do about it???
Starting a podcast on Fantasy sports and mixing in every day stuff like family life, sporting events, local business etc... Thanks for the info. I have most of what we need so far. I am more worried about setting everything up and editing. Is there a software you recommend?
Hi I have a podcast and it’s a visual one where I record on zoom I want to go more professional and start setting up with multiple cameras I saw a few things you went over but I don’t know what exactly I would need
Yep we have a Podcast, the name is “No Somos Famosos” [We are not famous] and so far we are really proud about the results and engagement with our audience.. Thanks guys for this kind of content, is super useful for people like us 🙏🏻
I would like best/ cheap/best equipment for multiple hosts. Everything is for a one person setup. Also, setup for multiple location recordings. Thanks.
Happy New Year! Enjoyed this video. I was wondering if there is an advantage of using a dynamic mic like the Shure SM7B instead of a condenser mic or even a condenser lav mic like the Sony ECM-44B which allow you to skip the cloudlifter and save some money.
I have a substancial amount of background hissing (noise floor) with my zoom podtrack p4 that is picked up in the audio recording and I can hear it through the headphones during the recording session. How do I get rid of this?
Great setup. Just one thing; you said that just to plug the H6 into an output. Idk if that is possible in US with 110V but in Sweden and countries with 220V you get an annoying ground buzz because of some bug and is extremely hard to edit out even using Izotope's denoise-tool.
Wow, thanks a lot G🙏 . Liked. Subscribed. This was a great video but I would've really liked to see how you align the 3 cameras and 3 lights visually for a 3-camera angle setup.
This is next level stuff, need to take notes for my own channel!!
Congratulations on starting a TH-cam channel👏👏👏😊
Is there a link for the headphones you suggest for a podcast? Thanks for the help...love your videos.
Do you use something to hit record all at once? Or do you just press record on each camera?
Is there a video on what equipment and apps are needed to do a live stream and be able to cut to different camera angles and computer screen?
