Loved the video! We are the Americans you met at the boat dock. The Black Cuilllins ended up being one of my favorite places in Scotland, hope to come back and explore more some day!
Corinne Sayler Woooop! Hey, how was the run? Was very nice to meet you both. We’re so happy you managed to get to see that awesome view in by the Loch! Thank you for watching the film. Pop over and follow our FB and Instagram, may help you for when you are planning your next trip to Scotland! 😂😀👍🏴
Epic video. I'd love to be able to do what you guys do but can only visit once or twice a year from NW england. I was there last month, went with misty Isles boats. One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. So glad I stumbled accross your channel.
Hi Guys once again thanks for sharing. I've visited Skye perhaps 20 time over the last 35 years. Love the Elgol / Loch Coruisk area. There is a great little walk from the carpark at Kilmarie into Camasunary Bay. Suitable for the less fit of us. The views are also spectacular of the bay, Loch Coruisk and the Cuillin beyond. Best wises.
Hey William, Yeah we know that route, I think any way you go in is superb. We ran along the coast a couple of years ago and loved it. I’m sure this won’t be our last trip! Have a great day! 😀🙏
Another fantastic adventure for you two. The locations you choose.. the content you put in and the views you capture makes watching your video's an absolute pleasure. Thank you for sharing. Gary
Stunning views David!! Cracking place to camp! Love a wee boat trip as well, i can see that one being busy with the views at the drop off point as well. Cheers, Kris.
Well, that brings a new interpretation to not getting out bed the wrong side....🤦♂️. Despite everything what a beautiful spot to overnight and a cracking video to boot. A subscriber 👍🏼..😷🙏.
Enjoyed that thankyou.. shame about the weather coming in for some more shots. But at least you got some fantastic footage...looked really cosy in the tent camping on the edge and what a perfect pitch. Many thanks for sharing. Another great video..take care Alan Gregory adventures 👍🤗🤗👍
Guys your videos are always amazing! My wife is my best pal and she is starting to get into hillwalking slowly but surely, your videos are a great help! So keep it up 🙌😊
That’s a great message to read.. thank you sir! 😀🙏 Nothing better for me than to have my best mate and Mrs alongside sharing awesome moments together. Merry Christmas 🎄 to you both from us both! 😀🙏🎄🎁
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful adventure with us all. This is indeed one of the most scenic places in Scotland, and one no doubt I will never get the chance to see in real life. It was wonderful even in the grey weather I have watched other videos of this location in the past and it always looks stunning ! Thanks again :D Teddy
What an amazing video . Watched every second of this adventure with professional editing Dave . Great choice of music and full of useful information , you had me captured for 15 minutes . A thumbs up for all the effort and sharing Dave . Well done 👍.
Walk With Wallace 👣 Thanks mate, this ones been on the list for a long time now we’ve made space for something else in that list! 😀😂 Yeah I think it’s really important to try and do our bit and spread the #TakItHame #LeaveNoTrace message. Thanks again for supporting us, much appreciated! 😀🙏
Great guys thanks love watching all your vids I love to go away climbing an hiking it would be great if you can do a gear review on the things you use one day like wen go on a bivi hike 🇬🇧👍🏽
Cracking video again guys. It's a destination firmly on my map for my visit to Skye later this month. I'll probably come at it the long way in from Sligachan...but we'll have to see what the weather brings. Good work on the litter message there. And also, great to see your channel developing and growing. Nice work.
Julian, Thank you very much. It appears that its growing nicely. We're learning lots about filming. All the best for your trip to Skye and please feel free to message us on our FB page with your pictures, we'll do a wee post. :-)
Great footage! Took the Bella Jane for a day trip last year in July and was blown away. Vowed I’d return. Did you summit not having to negotiate the “bad step”? Presume you walked part way round the loch and up inland side of the hill? Would love to return and summit but don’t fancy the long walk in from Sligachan. How long did it take to summit from Loch Coruisk please?
Hi Jayne, thanks for watching! The bad step is on the coastal path, not far from where we went but not on the same path. Defo take the boat back in and follow our route up. Can’t remember how long it took us but it wasn’t that long nor difficult, we also do a lot of faffing. You’d need to check but I’m sure you could do it in a day using the boat. 😊🙏
Nice one folks and great video - brought back some smashing memories:) it’s an amazing spot 👌 Thanks for the mention :) - if you watch my next vlog - you may find this reciprocated 😉👌👍 Take care ATB Murray
Scotland's Mountains Hi Murray.. thank you. I must also say that it was your film that steered me onto this..I’ve added it to the end screen, the one the inspired us! So, thank you for the inspiration to make our own memories! 😀🙏 Lisa & David
Bit late seeing this but fantastic as always.Beautiful drone shots.Huge thanks for highlighting the 'leave no trace' moto. It's becoming a huge problem,sadly.. Stay safe and best wishes to you both from Devon
searchandupload Hey! thank you very much! 😀🙏.. I actually can’t remember but it wasn’t long! We take our time as much as we can to enjoy the views and obviously do a little filming. Sorry I can’t be more specific on that one.
Awesome video! We are planning to do the same trip, but have found out, that it is prohibited to leave a car overnight at Elgol parking. Where did you leave your car? :)
Thank you. We actually left it at the carpark. You’re using the village services and unless it’s the height of season I don’t think it’s a problem. I could be wrong! 😀👍
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 thanks for the reply! well, i think June is already a high season :) i will email a boat service to check with them, maybe they will suggest something
On the Adventure Trails - Scotland thanks for the quick reply! Just had a look on the OS maps app and it reckons 3 hours there and back to the landing station.
can you tell me where to get a good map for this hike or send a link of the route etc? we would like to do a short/hike scramble up part of Sgurr Na Stri and back down, could we do a small scramble up a small part of the way and then back down to the boat dock in say 3 hours? We don't know if we will have much more time than that etc. We are doing a guided hike the next day from glenbrittle to the Inaccessible Pinnacle or that area of the Cullin but were hoping to squeeze this in also the day before but we will probaby have to get the 12:30pm boat from Elgol over which might get us there closer to 1:30/2pm and then the last boat back at 5pm so we might not have that much more time than 3 hours....
Hi Justine, getting all the way up and back down might be a bit tight with the time you have! There’s plenty of things to do and see around Loch Curuisk though. You could walk out to the ‘bad step’ and back or play around in the Dubh Slabs. Heres a link to a route that looks similar to ours. www.ukhillwalking.com/logbook/r/?i=1237 I would say though. Save this one for when you have more time. It deserves to not be rushed. You’ll know what I mean when you do it. Cheers. Dave
Great stuff guys and glad you got the chance to experience a cam up there. It is a magical place for a camp and what a great film you made of the trip. Atb
So you are one of the huge motorhomes clogging up the roads of Skye? You could have walked from Elgol and traversed the Bad Step to reach Loch Coruisk.
A new film, at least a new one to me as I must have missed it first time around. Fair enjoyed it, cheers.
Hehe! I wish it was a new film Alan! Should have some new ones soon though! Thanks for your message and for watching. All the best L&D 😊🤙

So long as one of you stay awake on guard duty throughout the night! You’ll be fine!! 🤙
