Quinag: Three Corbetts | Wild Camp | Assynt and Coigach

- Quinag is a magnificent and complex mountain with three summits attaining Corbett status. The ascent of all three is one of the finest hillwalks in Scotland, with fine peaks, dramatic ridges and stunning views. If the full walk is too much, the ascent of the first peak (with a return the same way) is a short and fairly straightforward hillwalk with rewards out of all proportion to the effort involved. The mountain is under the stewardship of the John Muir Trust.TERRAINMostly good hill paths. Mountainous terrain with some very steep ground but only a minimal amount of scrambling.WalkHighlands - www.walkhighlands.co.uk/ullap...

Agreeded, mind you I do fancy Norway. 😁👍
Oh, to be perched up so high for the night. A spectacular room with a view. You make it look so easy too!
MrsO certainly made that look easy! 😁👍 If the wind wasn’t quite so strong it would have been 100% perfect. Can’t have it all though! 😂😂
Fantastic, what a part of the world. Thankyou 👌
Hi Marko, thanks! Beautiful area is t it. 😁🫡🙏
Great video and drone footage. Had a stunning Quinag day 4 years ago for my 50th, was a long day but an epic one. Hated the long walk back out. Suilven, Quinag and Stac Pollaidh that week. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure.

Hey Brian, She puts me to shame, truly! 😂😂 The ankle is back on form until I do it again. I’m forever rolling ankle, for both. It goes back years. Anyway, it was a good excuse to chill for a bit. 😂😂
Great shots and a great feeling of the rocks and area in general
Thanks Steve. 😁🙏
Good stuff, great set of hills. Love the wee daredevil lookout point. Assynt is beautiful.
Couldn’t agree more. 😁🙏

Hi L&D, What a stunning couple of outings you have had in Assent. The footage and presentation is your usual very high standard.... well done 👏 I think Lisa is going to need a wee bit more weight in her pack just to even things up a bit 🤣 Take care, Cheers
Hiya Charlie, Thanks for watching. We’ve a few of yours to catch up in. I’m planning on putting a boulder in her sleeping bag for the next adventures! She’s a machine, really is. 😂😂

Stunning day and hills.
I need to get to Assynt more. I've promised myself every year I'll get back . Sidetracked too much. Only live in Dingwall so not a major trip for me.
Haha Dingwall… you’ve no excuse! 😁👍 Thanks for your message Andy. 😁🙏🫡
Amazing
Cheers Gary! 😁👍
Once again a stunning video. Loved the time lapse with the clouds as the weather was changing. Assynt has to be the wildest landscape that Britain has to offer. Take care guys & hide the energy bars from Lisa 😆
Couldn't agree more! Haha - She’s like a Duracell bunny.. shes got some energy it has to be said. 😁👍
Brilliant, we loved the wee cuddle it made us laugh because that’s exactly what we do when we get to the summit. Cheers James and Eileen
Gotta have a wee cuddle! 😁😍 Cheers for watching again guys. 😊👍
Just amazing as always :)
Thanks Mac. 😁👍
What a location to camp! I did Quinag over 10 years ago when I took extended holiday to tour and climb in the far north of Scotland. There are some amazing hills up there and I still have a few left to do. Can’t wait to get back up there next year after hip surgery in September this year. Really missing the highlands! Thanks for sharing! Keep those videos coming they are so special!
Hi Graham, they will be waiting for you. Plenty motivation to get well soon. Take care and best of luck with your procedure. 😁👍
Fantastic film. My neck of the woods Assynt. Great weather, surely not this July?! Keep them coming. 👏👏👏
Cheers Kevin. We’ve one more for Canisp to edit. Rubbish weather though.
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 Rubbish weather sums up the summer! ☹️
@@kevinw1129 we just had 10 days of the good stuff up your way, mostly.
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 Blimey, I can’t remember 10 days of good weather up here since beginning of July! 🤣🤣
@@kevinw1129 let me rephrase… acceptable weather 😂
nice😊
😁🙏 .. cheers 👋
Hi guys. Oh wow, seriously Assynt, what a stunning place. I fell in love with it a couple of years ago when I went there for the first. I keep promising myself I will go back. Next year hopefully. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us as always! 😀⛰🥾🏴
Thank you kind sir. Get your gear packed. You are correct. Assynt = Adventure! 😁🙏
