This is an awesome car that I bought one. Thank you for a wonderful review. I bought the 2023 Kia Sportage SX Prestige AWD Hybrid. I love it. Mine is coming in another month. It has the best 1.6L Turbo engine with the Hybrid engine at 38MPG. I am very impressed with all of it. So many features. The Panoramic sunroof is simple awesome. It is built very well with great quality. The LED projector lights are very bright and go very far. The engine is very quick and quiet. No road noise at all. Thank you for your honest review.
I just purchased the GT LINE spec and love it, traded up from the previous sportage1 , fantastic car. It’s an SUV not a saloon car, I just get irritated when reviews criticise performance as if it’s a bmw m4 or something, it’s comparing apples and pears. Imho
They're for coats. Kia describes them as "headrest hangers" in their e-brochure and says "the backs of the front headrests include built-in, shape-preserving coat hangers".
@@johnboygingerstick to a 40k VW then with half the features KIA offer on this then. If I'm spending 40k then I'd want a mid size SUV with ventilated seats, upgraded sound system, 360° camera, 200+ BHP and a 7 year warranty...like this 40k KIA!
Seriously? 20mpg? I drove one for 30 miles over a range of roads and got over 50mpg. Car driven GT Line 2wd 1.6 HEV. Have ordered the GT Line S AWD HEV (petrol).
We'd recommend heading to Motors.co.uk and finding one of each, within your price range, from a dealer you can travel to. Call the dealer, arrange a test drive of each - then make the decision based upon all the info. Good luck!
My current Kia is 36k miles, 3 years 7 months old, ZERO issues and all I have spent money on is new tyres. 2.0 AWD GT Line S. Have ordered the GT Line S AWD for delivery December. No-one I knows wglho bought a new Kia has any compaints.

He literally said it's fine performance for a car of that size and weight. 😂
Got this on order can not wait
This car is a GT Line S not a GT Line….quite a difference in spec and price.
Not sure about being able to watch a film on an iPad tbh as it looks like c60% of the screen would be blocked out

Another review where they use the very top spec version. Why? Why not do the basic standard spec?
Because most people will go for the higher specs
@@OnTheRailwayOfficial nah they won’t though will they. A £40k + KIA? Nah.
@@johnboyginger That's what the majority of used ones are.

This one in the video is the mild hybrid, the one you drove was an actual hybrid petrol, hence the mpg difference.
No heated seats on GT line what’s that all about?
Is 2025 model changed in a yway
Is this the G-Line one?
Love the colours wow nice indeed I have a Kia and love it 😊
Hi great vid one question have read Kia and Hyundai have a major problem with there engines catching fire and other problems have they been addressed
I have covered 4000 miles now in my GT line S. averaging 48mpg. I’m not that feather footed either.
This here is the mild hybrid. Are you by any chance driving the actual hybrid?
Didnt seem like GT line spec apart from wheels and no pano roof 🤔 but not quite gt line S either
In what way did it seem "not quite GT Line S"?
he just said ffs
@@davebennett2482 No he didn't. He said why it didn't seem like GT Line spec... "ffs".
2023 gt-line or a new duster ?

I would go for an MG HS before this better value and a 7 year warranty.
Umgh, cheaper but less reliable and certainly a drop into the lower league.
steel grey
Good informative video, but it did make me laugh when you said wing mirrors, it’s 2023 man not 1973 😂
Driver cant move front passenger seat ? You dont have buttns
Just over 20 mpg 😮
❤
Shockingly poor car, I've had one for 10 months and can't wait to get shut of it, absolute sh*tbox.
How so
I'm looking at a new car at the moment and have been considering the Sportage. I'd love to know what issues you have with it?
A shizophrenic bot :D
@@WolfsGamingBlog I've had one for nearly a year with no issue at all. Love it
