Thanks for posting this! Had the same drip in my “new to me” 03 LX470. I was not going to be able to take the trim off and you inspired me to just go for it without doing so. Left some blood and sweat on it all but I did it, thanks to you! Also had mouse poo. Used the Toyota seal packing 103(FIPG) off Amazon and worked like magic. Take care!

No, it's not a rats' nest. That organic material flows through the fresh-air intake and collects at that point. I never knew leaves and pieces of grass were gross.

All the process is good except the sealant you just need to clean and make sure dripping pipe in not block… if you don’t unblock properly the pipe and then you use sealant well water will accumulate on that box and the damage will be even bigger … the way is design is to tell you is time to clean the air con system… if you use sealant and don’t unblock the drain pipe is pretty much hiding the problem not solving the problem ….
Yeah I thought about that afterwards; however, if you pay decent attention to your vehicle you should notice no water dripping under the vehicle and I’m assuming the last one lasted a full 16 years should be okay for a while, but yes you have a very valid point.
Is this the same for a sequoia
I’m not certain. Is yours leaking? Pop the panel off and see what’s back there or you can peak underneath and see if it’s the same
@@rywanders no it’s not leaking. But I would like to clean it really good. If I can get that good of access to the coil. I’ll be in good luck. They did a good job producing the lx470. Sequoia is a little different under there I think unfortunately

No, apparently they didn't come with them until later models. What year is yours?
