      Hey Southern Pine Outdoors. This comment was flagged as spam by TH-cam and it is Spam. I didn't report it, flag it, or delete it because I rather use it as a learning tool to help a growing TH-cam creator like you. Read this and think about what I'm writing. Gaining subscribers is hard, I know that first hand. Gaining subscribers early on is even harder, I too know that first hand. Spamming larger channels or bribing viewers into watching and subscribing is not going to translate positively for you. You will either get flagged or your comments will just be deleted. Aside from that, the major goal as a creator is to create content that is engaging and naturally leaves people wanting more. Your goal should be to focus on building an engaged following that enjoys your content with authenticity. Do you really think you will get any benefit from a comment like this? Even if you gain a few subscribers do you think they will be genuine? If you sub back will you be true to those channels you sub to? I think not. Being successful on TH-cam is a lot of hard work, just like being successful at anything else in life. Laziness and corner cutting never pays off. I hope you take this comment to heart and understand the deeper meaning of the message I am sending you. There are many ways to become successful and grow on TH-cam, this is not one of them.

      Not judging. I rolled my bronco multiple times and after I realized the ice chest and jack could have crushed both of our skulls. Last year I saw my brother 4 wheeling in his suburban with a floor jack in the back. Cringed. I just make sure shit is either out or secure.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya Lee, i agree. A floor jack turns into a deadly weapon in a situation like that. We all need to work on keeping that stuff in mind when we are out having fun.

    OK first change the title of the video to winching not riding, then get some tires for the sxs, teach the drivers how to drive and trust their machines then send this video to the winch companies so they can use it for a video on how strong they are. As far as if anyone thought it was easy and could do better.....any day.

    i'm not one for safety first all the time but knowing you're probably going to flip, it might be a good idea to put a helmet on. At least put on the nice fancy shoulder harnesses you see dangling behind the guy driving the RZR as he goes over.

    Mostly what I see here is What NOT to do.( Sorry guys.) But good friendly comraderie is always welcome. Put helmets on before it's rollover time. Your loved ones will thank you. And carry a fire extinguisher in case your rollover rider catches fire and can't get out.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Susan, I don't disagree with your voice of reason one bit. You are correct. However, when you get a group of adults out on a ride you can't always make the correct decisions for them. You will always see me and my co-pilot wearing safety gear, however, as much as we try to stress the importance of that some people still choose to make their own decisions. We are trying to improve on this as a group but we can't force people to make the right choice at times.

    I'm sure it's been mentioned, but wrapping your winch line around a tree back onto itself is not only harmful to the trees, but detrimental to the winch cable itself....get tree savers. Other than that, looks like a wicked good time.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +VooDuuChild Yes, it has been mentioned multiple times. We try to put straps around the trees usually, however, usually is not always. I'm going to do my part to try to improve and use one all the time. Seems quite a few people have mentioned it and you are all right. We need to be responsible out on the trail and preserve what we have. I'll try to get our entire group to start doing there part. Hopefully in future videos you will see us utilizing straps around the trees.

    @ehTV1000 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think you boys should start running a more aggressive tire like outlaws or something I think the end result would be a hole lot different. Unless you plan on winching your ride's onto there side's LMAO this was great keep em comming

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Metal Gearz Outlaws don't do well on these trails. Running a mud tire like that might help in a couple spots but they don't do well on most sections of the trail. The outlaws dont grip well on hard pack hill climbs or on rutted climbs, and the grip is so on and off they tend to snap axles. As a group we have tried most the tires out there, seems most people stick to a Bighorn like tire.

    Loved the video! Reminded me of the off roading we use to do in the N. Ga. Mtns. back in the day when we ran Jeeps and 4x4 trucks with lifts etc. I can tell that is some technical terrain. Very challenging and definitely gets the adrenaline flowing. Great fun. Oh and I just love that there "ALWAYS" has to be at least one idiot that has to make some disparaging remark as to what others choose as fun. There usually the ones without any videos posted of what they are passionate about....:) lol

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you enjoyed the video! Ya, haters are always going to hate. If we have haters we must be doing something right, lol. The terrain here is super technical, the biggest variable on this section of trail is the weather and the trail conditions. During the dry season you can idle right through here stress free, when its slick this video is what you get.

    • @smaug1977
      @smaug1977 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I see this a lot. Everyone complaining about the visco lok yet everyone is stuck at the exact same spot. The end result is almost always the same. Winch. I never trust a winch that much that I rely on it to complete a run. Never. If plan A goes bad and I need to winch and the winch works, great...good job Warn but if I approach a section were I know I must use the winch a lot like this section, I turn around or find a different line. Its not worth it messing up the terrain even more and winch the heck out of those trees.
      That being said, me being a Can Am guy, I dont like how the Maverick are so tippy and high centered in every clip I see. I dont live in a particular good SxS area so for me buying a SxS would be a waste but if I would buy a SxS I dont think I would buy a Maverick. It looks way too tall and narrow somehow.

    Wicked vid! Need to get out with you guys. The Mav guys need to look into the Halo Locker. Give 'em selectable four wheel lock up.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +mikethetinner I'm going to have to read into the Halo locker you speak of. Welding the diff seems to work well too. So far all the guys we ride with that have welded them have had good luck. Biggest flaw seems to be the increase in steering effort after welding it. If you have power steering its not so bad though, without its a workout every time you ride, lol.

      Hey I have been riding since I was 8 years old (started with the old honda 125cc trike). I haven't left the ATV world for a side by side yet but I can see how the longer wheel bases and the roll cage inspire more confidence tackling really challenging terrain. Problem with me taking the plunge is our riding in Manitoba, it is soft clay and 'skeg. I can say my polaris highlifter sportsman 1000 xp is not as difficult to winch out or dig out when I get stuck. Imagining digging out one of your beasts from the places we get stuck would be my literal hell on earth! By the way I subscribed awhile ago and I look forward to finish binge watching your content! keep posting the awesome vids!

      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Mike, thanks for all the kind words. I totally get what you are saying, as you can see we don't do much heavy duty mudding. There are plenty of guys in the area that love to mud bog but we often stick to trail riding, hill climbs, and high speed shenanigans. I'd love to get a set of bigger mud tires for the RZR Turbo and see how it does in the nasty stuff though. I will need to do a few mods before I do that though. Thanks for subscribing man, there is tons of great content in the works. I'm just a little backlogged in the editing department now so things are slower than I would like them to be but I am working on improving that. Stay tuned man and thanks for the comment.

      they don't suck if you get the QE visco lock ...Polaris or can am will go the same places depending on the set up and the drivers skill level

    all newer models have visco lock that kicks in after 2 spins

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jacob Sark I think its actually 3 spins and that is in theory. They claim 3 rotations but its definitely not the case often. Especially with on and off grip. Seems that its 3 rotations as long as the other wheel doesn't move in between. Can-Am really needs to work on the front drive on their machines, besides that they are a solid platform.

      Hey Troy, personally I don't drink at all. The other guys in this video weren't drunk, like you, most the guys we ride with who choose to have a few beers do a good job moderating their intake until after the ride. We were just out having some fun on this ride and not really putting much thought into planning far ahead, lol. Just a laid back weekend ride with a few buddies.

      Thanks Trevor, glad you enjoy the videos. A lot of time goes into editing a video like this, probably more time than into the ride itself unfortunately, lol. It is worth it though as when a bunch of the guys and gals are hanging out and we look back at the videos of some of the rides and the carnage, it's like you were there busting chops on the side of the trail again, lol. On top of all that, getting positive comments like yours makes it worth the effort, thanks for watching!

    Yall ever heard of airing down?
    If it wasn't such a long drive id get some buddy's and come up there and show yall how to do it without all that winching. Our winches are hardly ever used around here!

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Bigboyhillclimber Hey man, your welcome to join in. We do air down, but due to the mix of terrain and some road riding involved in between trails we have to settle for a happy medium. We have made it through this obstacle multiple times without winching in the past. This spot changes with the weather though and when this video was shot the conditions of the trail were super slimy and loose. Sometimes when you sit back and watch a video of what you did you think, WTF was I doing. Unfortunately, in the moment we don't always make the right decisions. Especially if some of the guys are over-hydrated at the point.... lol.
